Dewey Aeroponics - RADDWC

Looking fantastical, BF!

I love the new Dewey tub.

Hmmm, I have the same issue with my Dewey Mister. I just stick them back down. Lol

Which is why I burrowed your idea of hole and grommet for the Dewey cloner. I sealed it with water weld to be safe.

I ordered some Flex Tape, should work great for sealing.

Hey vex! I never had this issue because i always put the deweys in from the bottom, which isn't an issue if the bottom is pretty solid but the bottom of this thing flexes so much. Im positive id spring a leak and need to glue it plus if i put them on the bottom id need another tote for this tote to sit inside off. I notice when its filled with water if its flimsy the plastic will colapse around the dewey. Not sure how to explain that but its more work then im willing to do right now.

Ill probably just get some stainless washers to weigh down the dewey. I wish the deweys had a weighted base.

I see. Maybe place 3-4 2x4's as a tub stand? It'll give you some space for base of the misters.

I was actually going to do that. I need to some how elevate my tote so i can drain my raddwc but the problem is i loose a lot of canopy space. My tote is tall. So until i can find something better no raddwc and no bottom mount. My eyes are open though and i hope i find something better for a rez.

I hear ya. Space limitation is rough.

I'm actually thinking that same thing as I design the totes. How/Where to install a drain in each tote to fully empty the system...

That's what i cant figure out. I have space requirements and im not sure a recirc wiuld fit very well. If the tent was a a lot taller i could raise it up and have it slightly lower on one side for drainage. My biggest concern would be water not draining completely and sitting in the hoses for hours until the pump kicks on and sends fresh nutes in. I just keep it simple for now. It only for breeding and strain testing anyways.

My tote is pretty tall as well, i need to lower it a couple more inches.

Man ferci found the perfect foot locker thing!! Still though i dont think id be able to recirc with my arraingment.

Basically im flowering in the 4x4 under cob and have nowswitched this tent from a veg tent to flower. The tents come on at alternate times. I just need a little 4" fan and filter but will get it later. The 6" seems overkill for the 4x4 and is turned way down. Think a 4" will do for a 3x3, i want to be able to turn it down as well though.

I was thinking of getting a 2x4 to veg in the living room. Do you think i can fit four 7 gal pots in a 2x4???? The 3x3 is just a little to much for my living room

Every inch counts, said the teenie weenie gerbil. Lol

Lol. teenie weenie! Thats my apt!

It would be really tight in a 2x4 but 5 gal pots might be better fit.

I think you can squeeze 7 plants in a 2x4, just can't grow them too big. Lol

I think Ferci used a cooler?

Gerby. .

Grrr, basura!!
Lol!

That should be fine i guess. Doc recomends 7gal pots but i think some grow in 5ers not sure but yeah after having four 5 gallon pots in my 3x3 its kinda hard to imagine four 7gal pots.

Do you think the 5 and 7 gal pots are the same diameter but the 7 is just taller?? I mean if its the same size as a 5er i might be able to squeeze em in tight. Get them to a small bush and transfer under cob.... ill probably spring for the 3x3. I have a feeling ill regret getting anything else

I definitely regret not listening to that thing! Its has to be psychic!

Sticking the deweys to ceramic plates helped a lot!!

Ill be so excited to see how that afghan cross comes out! I hope at the very least they have purple specs but i really hope the all purple buds show for you. That would be a killer strain there
My too! Those gsc xtm are georgous.
Curious as to what the Afghan is bringing to the table.
The Aurora Indica that I just grew is awesome (nl x afgan).
Im still newer grower but love the breeding conversations.
That is inevitably the end goal for a guy like me.

Still debating on a name, this stuff is hard! Lol
I was wondering if tgat gets difficult :)
Doing the same thing next run , but if they do like last time start throwing male parts all around, I'll have to think of some non- sex specific names... ;)

Rough night! My deweys lifting off the tote. I woke up at 4am and thought sonething doesnt sound right. I check the tent and two plants with extreme wilting! They would have died by morning. I woke up again a few minutes later to the same misters lifted off the tote again. I ended up taking some ceramic dishes. Sticking the deweys to them and throwing it all in the tote with a little more water. Imsure the plants will come back but they looked real sad. Im going to have to go figure something out. Maybe ill get some stainless steel washers.

Also put way too little z7 and started getting some rot chopped that right off, cleaned the slime, and added 6ml of z7 to the tote.

I cant wait to test these plants already!
Man BF you and the Dewey crew have some awesome reactionary and handy skills.

I'm also glad I'm not the only one that wakes and goes, 'oh shit something isn't right', i usually faintly hear my occilating fan clicking because it can't turn. Usually means the panda film is covering my intake, which I usually have propped away with cardboard but a stoned foot is all it takes and my tent is trying to implode until I hear the faint clicking sound.

Ok no more slacking getting my coffee and trimmin my final plant from my first grow.
