Devils Lettuce 3rd Indoor Grow - Breaking Bad Style - 4 Different Strains

thanks guys for the kind words about my ladies !!

its crazy to look back on my first few grows and all the damn problems i had . this one has been great and i have like 15 plants compared
to 3 .. the main thing i try to preach to new growers like myself is get a damn ph meter .

I don't know who is telling these guys to not worry about ph until u have an issue.. to me that is a stupid statement. why wait until its an issue that u have to correct to get the grow back on track ..

If u ask me it's like owning a car u need preventive maintenance to maintain proper performance .

on a lighter note this stuff is awesome ..

its a solution that u put in your glass pipes.bongs that works miracles in like two minutes .it cleaned a bong that i had neglected to clean for over a year of everyday smoking like it was nothing . its crazy its like it crystallizes .

it went from liquid to a sandy substance that washed out with hot water and left the bong like brand new with no chemical smell or taste ..

Here is my "jack widow" 15 days old. she would be bigger but i dragged my ass on setting up my new veg room properly, i had her over a foot from the light for almost 10 days . once i set every thing up and put her 3 inches from the t-5 she took off.

here are some of my clones that i have in 5 gl pots ..gonna be some big girls.. i usually stick with 3 gl but they were out of stock.if i like these 5 gl pots i may just tick with them .

here is my Hawaiian skunk haze . well into flowering .. i bumped her up to 1000 ppm this week . shes 88 days old cant remember the exact time shes been in flower id have to look back in my journal .

i went into my flower room today about 15 mins after the lights were supposed to be on to check temps. no lights!!!! wtf
i check my timer and its fine ,ballast seems fine . now i start to worry .so i trace the problem to the bulb .

i grab one of my 400w to change it out .my 600w hortilux bulb was hot as hell in the reflector but it would not produce light which really sucks cause i would rather spend that bulb replacement money towards L.e.D

62 days old 12 days in flower per some real smart dudes i bumped all plants up to 1010 from 400 ppm and still 6.5 ph i was a little worried but all they did was grow a shitload in 24 hrs .not a single burnt tip!!!

here are all my ladies . i will keep them like this until they get big enough to take the table out and bring the light to them ..i have a bad back so long periods working low like that kills me . i have the light a foot from the canopy .

As soon as the Hawaiian skunk finishes i will pop a dark devil auto and put it straight in my flower room ..that will make it 6 strains for the next round ..variety baby!!!!!!!!!:tokin:

yes it did . i keep seeing her in my dreams lol.. that set of pics u have showing her starting to purple is like porn man !
 
i have something weird going on that might be normal .

2 of my 3 clones that were rooted in my 5 gal clone bucket and transplanted two weeks ago kept under 18-6 are already showing sex.

since these are my first clones it might be normal like i said .im just used to growing from seed. anyone seen this before ?

another thing i noticed today is that the lower branches on my Hawaiian skunk haze are budding better than the top branches closer to the light..

That is very normal. She's just showing that she is mature enough to flower :)

That H Skunk might be too close to the light. If you were to lift the light up a little more those top buds would grow just fine :)

yea the hs is a little close to the light. the other plants are inches from catching her then i will take them of the table and sit them on the ground and adjust the light down to them ..
 
thanks relaxed.

i will try to get pics tonight . this lemon kush has surprised the hell outta me . during veg she gave me the most problems and always looked weak next to her big sisters . now she is the queen of the flower room. she has already started to bud nicely and shes getting tall.

the afghan skunk is right behind her but not as far along in the bud dept.

i think i have been doing the money maker all wrong . i have my other ladies in 3gl smart pots and they dry out at the same time . well my money maker is in a 5gl hard pot and i have been feeding her along with her sisters on the same schedule.

. i noticed a lack of growth in her so i haven't watered her in 5 days and shes still not dry. ive had to water\feed the others 2 times .. im going to let her dry out good and pay more attn to her needs individually .

i had to remove the table from the flower room because they were getting to close to the light and it was as high as it could go.. they have all reached the same height as the long ass flowering Hawaiian skunk haze that was a month ahead of them so i can put the light the same distance away from the plants . i was hurting the Hawaiian because i was trying to get the lights closer to my other plants that were smaller ..

the hsh lower branches are filling in nice were the tall branches that were closer to the light look shitty ..

all my veg plants for my next harvest are looking good!! i fimed the mm$ and the aks.. the jack widow has taken off now that i am giving her some attn. i let her stretch a little under the t-5 to see if dealing with her in flower will be easier. mow i have her 2 inches from the light . i will transplant her when she shows she is ready . starting feeding all the transplants nutes this week on week 3 of the new life in the soil mix i usually wait till week five but i wanted to see the difference. no burning or issues . just happy plants reaching for the lights .

instead of running a heater in the veg room this winter im going to revert back to 24-0 light schedule.. i know they would probably do better if i stay under 18-6 but i want to see the difference.

feeding tonight will be 1100 ppm

sphnx should i make it higher next week ?
 
Oh yeah, bump it up to 1500 or so.

My clones and mothers are always on 24-0 lighting. I wouldn't do it any other way. They are bigger, healthier, stronger clones by the time they are ready to flip. My root systems are insane as well, so that completely disproves the myth that roots only grow when the lights are off. Anytime those leaves are points straight up at the light, those roots are growing.

Just my opinion though.... :)

i went and adjusted the ppm to 1300.. we shall see how they respond to it .. i need to get some Armour si due to the temp fluctuations.. ive seen the quality of weed u grow so your word carry's clout in my book .
 
Forgot to add that the clones under 24-0 lighting are more eager to flower. Any darkness they get they start their stretch lol
 
For vegetative growth I would use a 18/6 18 hours of light and 6 hours of darkness lighting schedule. I read a study where lighting schedule versus root length was tested and plants grown under a 16/8 lighting schedule grew the longest roots, 18/6 was not tested. I was made aware of a study where lighting schedule versus growth was tested and plants given at least 5.5 hours of darkness grew the most.
