I've been through one bottle of bloom already, but haven't replaced any other bottles yet. But i'll be needing another 32 oz bottle of bloom and micro after this round of grows. So it's about 30 bucks for 5 plants start to finish the way I water. Next round of plants I might throw in some days of just pH adjusted water, but we'll see

ok i want suggestions from u guys . i fimmed them over 2 weeks ago . the afghan skunk hit a huge growth spurt in two days . when i updated with pics last time i moved the light up about 3 inches and today she had grown into the light by the time i got home .

what is the best advice u can offer for maximum yield with around 4 ft total in height including the pot . it will be under a 400w or 600w hid.

afghan skunk has shot up two main branches .what should i do to these branches ?

cloned all my ladies tonight.

Your gram per watt efficiency will vary from 0.50-0.90 efficiency depending on your grow environment and growing style.

It'll make slightly smaller but more colas.

I believe they will bush out. Instead of getting tall. I only did it one time myself. But I still had to LST my plants, but they bushed out a lot.

yea im looking for bushy two foot plants really .i think i would rather have more colas even if they are smaller . this is the part of the growth im having to teach myself now ..the only downfall from running only autos is i just let all but one do what it wanted . cant wait to put these girls under a 400w and watch them gooooo!!

i researched their genetics today and all plants seem to finish up in 8 weeks .

do any of u foliar feed? and if so how often, is every day to often? im using dutch master penetrator gold NPK: .006-0-0
its a lights on feeding .

I did folier feed. Did it in between nutrient waters. I just took a spray bottle. Filled it up and gave it a 1/4 teaspoon to the bottle.

since the npk is so low i have been hitting all plants twice a day with this stuff and they are loving it . no sign of evidence they are disliking it.

i just went and fimmed all the spots on the afghan and took those tall branches and tucked tem under those big ass fan leaves and now the are coming out of the side of the plant .

went to inspect the crazy growth on the starin hunters and started fimming it but after pulling that crazy leaf cluster apart i found like 6 shoots making there way up so i tucked some growth and opened her center up were it can get more light

I prefer to use Topping instead of the FIM technique. If you Topped your plant at the 3rd nodes on your branches each branch would produce 4 main colas.

i will try topping on the next grow to see the difference .. ive been looking for detailed top vrs fim pics and threads .

i pinned her down so the branches will grow outward. not sure if its a technique with a name i was just winging it .first time messing around like this . ill take pics later

That would be lst that you did. I do that with all my plants to get them low and wide. Looking good, I think you'll like the results, especially if you plan to scrog them

thanks man . im not one to be scared to manipulate my plants i just want to do something that will help my yield. i would love to scrog but since im vegging them in my room and flowering in a tent i don't see how that would work out . what do u do about the middle stalk that has two branches that are still getting vertical growth ?

I train them flat too just like the others. If you have enough nodes it almost looks like LA's tutt style training could be done on it

That's what I did to mine then put them under scrog.. You won't be sorry
