they are in happy frog with probably enough nutes fro another week so thats why i feed them so little . id rather seea little tip burn then a deficiency ..

ok here is the naked looking Hawaiian skunk haze at day 45 of veg she will start flower on day 50

she got 5 ml micro
5 ml grow,5ml bloom ,5 ml cal mag 1 ml tiger bloom, 2 ml thrive b1 1-1-1 and 2 ml dutch master penetrator gold

and last but not least my lovley clones almost a week old in my diy clone bucket ..
bucket has 1 tsp bloom ,2 tsp thrive b1 and getting foliar feed with the dutch master penetrator gold

anything special i should do to the big gurl before transition ?

i entered my grow room 15 mins early the other night and switched my timer to manual and forgot to swith it back . needles to say the lights were on for over 48 hrs straight and the amount of growth was so damn explosive im going to stay on a 24/0 veg schedule..

lemon kush must have liked the transplant . she grew an inch taller since last night ..still yellowing though..were is lab experiment when u need him lol

For vegetative growth I would use a 18/6 18 hours of light and 6 hours of darkness lighting schedule. I read a study where lighting schedule versus root length was tested and plants grown under a 16/8 lighting schedule grew the longest roots, 18/6 was not tested. I was made aware of a study where lighting schedule versus growth was tested and plants given at least 5.5 hours of darkness grew the most.

i saw that same study a month or so ago. i think the one under 18/6 or 16/8 was 40 cm compared to 22 cm under 24\0 or something like that .. i was just looking at there performance under 24\0 and i was blown away .. i know that is really being greedy ..if i do want to go back to 18\6 how would i prepare the plants to go back to that schedule.. just switch the timer back on or is there a certain way ..

i definetley respect yalls knowledge on this subject guys so i believe i will return to 18\6 ..thats why i have a journal to get reeled back in when i stray away from the correct way ..

i want to know everyone's opinion on this growth idea .. it seems great it would just take allot of seeds and eliminate the clones i want to start using .
No Mercy Seeds 12/12 Hours 7 Harvests a Year System

this tent is a little smaller that i thought it was going to be .. i know i know i had the specs but seeing for yourself is the only way . its perfect size and fit for a 8 bulb t8 . i see that vegging under the t5 is working great and saving me lots of money .but i see people talk about flowering under a t5 but i bet if u asked them if they could afford to use a h.i.d that they would ..

You can return your plants back to 18/6 18 hours of light and 6 hours of darkness simply by adjusting your timer, the plants will not have a problem returning back to 18/6.

thanks kjc .... i will start them back in the morning ..

trap its all good bro.. ive done the same .. im usually medicated when im on the site anyway ..

the tent is put together and i have ran the ac to it and the exhaust . it will need some fine tuning . word of advice buy a tent that has the socks with the pull string . all of the velcro covers on mine have slight light leaks.. i have ran a few test with the tent .

1. 6 bulb slim star high output t-5 with no ventlation temp got up to (110) after 1 hr
2. same slim star with an oscillating fan and one went open temps were (93) after 1 hr
3. 400w hps in a 6 inch yield master II supreme reflector .with the ac pumped in temps were (92) after 1 hr

tomorrow i will do a test with the 400 with the ac an oscillating fan and the exhaust hooked up to the reflector. hopefully i can get it stable in the mid 80's
since im only going to have the hsh in the tent for now im going to use the slim star high output t-5 to start the flowering and once it stretches and bushes out i think i will finish it under the 400w hps. this tent is going to limit my flower size to 3 plants which sucks . i could fit 4 but that would cramp the others and limit their growth. i still might build a smaller flower room so i can have more plants finishing at once .. i want to pull more weight per harvest than what 3 plants can give me .. i would smoke an oz or more a week if i had it and i need to have some for my family and a little profit. no room in the tent for the water farm also =/

i tested the tent today with the slim star 6 bulb in the tent with the ac .
the temps we stable at 77 degrees without a fan or any exhaust.

im just not sure about flowering under floros when i have my hids . i just know it will be cheaper .

i have an 8 bulb t5 in my veg room if i do decide to flower the whole time with the t5 i need to put the 6 bulb in veg and the 8 bulb in flower.

i just did some research and the slim star 6 bulb puts out 40,000 lumens

and the new wave 4ft 8 bulb t5 puts out the exact same 40,000 lumens . how is that?
and the hids
400w hps 55,000
600w hps 95,000
1000w hps 10,000

this statement make me even more convinced to use the hids .

Flourescent Tubes - Fluorescent tubes have been used to cultivate and flower marijuana. However, buds grown under these lights are usually fairly small and loose. The reason for this is that the intensity of the light, that is the amount of light that is produced by these lamps, is relatively low. In addition, the light is produced over a large area. The result is a lower amount of light spread out over a large area, so the amount reaching the plants is a small fraction of the amount the plants receive from a metal halide (MH) or high pressure sodium (HPS) lamp (and even Compact varieties)

Fluorescent tubes are more expensive than HPS lamps, too. The initial cost of a fluorescent is less than a HPS. However, when the cost of light is considered the cost picture changes. HPS lamps emit 2 1/2 to 3 times the amount of light per unit of energy consumed. The efficient HPS lamp is much cheaper over its life than a fluorescent tube.

Although you can grow marijuana using a fluorescent, you will produce a much higher yield of better grade grass cheaper and easier using an HPS lamp than a fluorescent.

so i guess my decision is to flower the hsh under the t5 and just see what happens but swap to the 400w hps when i move the next 3 in this winter .

I need help ...Ive had problems with buckets especially root rot and non producers. I was thinking of trying the scot unit by nothing but hydro it says it is a hybird of hydroponic aeroponic and bubbling that is worry free and easy for the beginners. Just trying to find out any information before I buy the unit. Has anyone tried this system or heard any feedback? Any information is helpful. Thanks,

i dont know anything about any of that , u should put your question in faq for people who actually use that stuff..they could help u out more than i can .:goodluck:

I hv been using a water farm so far so good

clone will a week old tomorrow . they still look the same as the day i cloned them ..i guess thats a good thing as most people have had a death in the chamber already .. so i hope the show some roots soon .. i read skunk plants are some of the best to clone and any big bud strains are very hard to clone because they dont take roots that well.. ill have to remember that when i plant my photo nlxbb

plants are doing good.. been fighting a keep the heat down battle and now all of the sudden its cold here in the south ,, was low 100's last week and low 60's today. i have an ac on a split system with both my flower and veg room .. the flower tent was high 50's (lights off) and the veg tent was low 70's (lights on) so i just turned on the exhaust fan to warm the flower tent back up a little. hsh has already grown three inches in flower . i have to move the lights up each night . i fimmed the strain hunters money maker and the afghan kush but left the lemon kush alone . shes so far behind the other girls since i started her in that little starter pot. i see people talking about starting in smaller pots has great advantages ,well i don't see them . a side by side comparison makes the lk look over a week behind and she was my front funner for the first two weeks .. the afghan is starting to for huuuge indica leaves and have form. she looked retarded from day 1 .

still no roots visible on the clones but they are holding strong .i believe they are a little over a week old . i did give the two oldest clones one in rock wool and the other in rapid rooters a slight tug and there was good resistance to move the stem .sounds like a good sign .how often should i change their water?

res has 1 ml bloom nutes ,2 ml b1 vitamin ,and 3 ml dutch master penetrater gold
