Devil's Carnival: The Community Grow Experience

We will be giving out recent harvest a taste test this weekend so an initial smoke report will be had.

Ok guys, no pics, but I want to bust up in here with updates on my two Devils Carnival girls. They both are at the beginning of flower. To start off with both of them were photo, I did not get any auto stuff going on. I did some topping in veg and they look like they are going to give me some nice, even tops. So the older girl is a green pheno and when I brushed against her earlier I was absolutely shocked to smell lemon lime scent coming off of her. Honestly most of my plants I don't notice the different smells, they generally all smell about the same to me, but this thing is just busting out with some nice citrus. I am VERY excited to try this out! The other girl looks like she is going to put on some purple. Just started shooting pistils and within the past few days has put on some purple.

Nis and Canna, I haven't had time lately (or maybe it's just the laziness) to browse the thread, but I am super excited to harvest these. Thanks for sharing this with us, I know the missus is going to enjoy.

You've never run a Carnival, have you Brix? That's the Carnival you're smelling. I can't wait to get this DDA down so I can plant the first DC. I sooooo hope I get a photo.

I have not! I have run DDA, but the results weren't spectacular, at the time I was not good with autos, suspect it was watering issues (too much at first, then too infrequent). But man, that smell! Very interested to see these girls cross the finish line.

My solo cup DC auto came down yesterday. I do have a photo going too. I can't wait to try this stinky thing!

Here is my DC before I take some clones from her.. im thinking of taking 4 clones of DC and 2 clones each of the Bubblegum and Mango. That way, I'm sure to get 2 DC and 1 each of the Mango and bubblegum.

I need to teach you to clone baby. I take one cutting at Flip and I'm running 100% with TOAST's produce bag atmospheres.

So I am lucky enough to have two of the photo variety Devil's Carnivals going strong in my bloom tent. The first one struck me the other day, I brushed against her and she let out this lemon lime funky storm headed straight to my nose. Man, what a hit!

Then there is her sister, #2 I like to call her. I haven't really paid any attention to how she smells because I cannot get over how she looks!

Thanks man. Hoping she can continue looking pretty for me til the finish. Been growing a ton of Blue Dream lately due to cloning so it's been a while since I was this excited for a harvest. I am going to have to try this one myself.

actually - I may have discovered an idiot-proof way of cloning.

Fill the bottom tray with vermiculite
pH water to around 6
Put clone in rockwool moisted with the same water
make the vermiculite wet and put the domeover.

The vermiculite will keep relative humidity around 90% for 3-4 weeks which is perfect. Success rate around 99%
Rooting gel/powder may speed up process. But not nessecary

Hi guys i jus had a quick question bout dark devil auto im wondering about when do they start 2 show pistals about how many weeks from seed if any1 cud give me a general estimate i wud greatly appreciate since im doing a sponsored grow n its with dda but i gotta adjust the feeding schedual so i need to know when do they start to show pistals roughly

3 weeks in if I am not mistaken. Sweetsue is the one to ask since she runs one constantly.
