So what are my options here?Well we now know they are most likely a bug in the nymph stage.
Is there any option where I could rid of them!?I control Thrips with just water and sprayer they wash easily and numbers stay low your fine.
Will try! Any opinion of the soap?Vacuum your grow area to remove some of them after you clean the plants.
thanjs will get on that and let you know how I get on & just to mention I have had a quite few brittle leaves!!Yes any insecticidal soap and washing plants regularly to stop getting them. A clean grow room is imperative to a perpetual grow room.
Just to be clear I use any soap? Or is there a special brand of insecticidal soap?Could be thrips, some are quite big and I don't see any in the center seam or where the leaves all meet but you but treat with soap quite safely, as well as hydrogen peroxide (h202). Since they are not in flower you could use End-All but it contains pyrethrin so that's up to you. You can start tonight by spraying some dish detergent mixed in water. I think it's 1 tablespoon to the gallon but google it. I think you put in a little veg oil as well. They need to be sprayed every three days for at least two weeks, possibly more. Do not let up or miss a spraying until they're gone.
I mean they are normal but in your case the brittle leaves are not good. Not fatal or anything but not good.Brittle leaves are also a sign of a bad thrip infestation. Remove them and any heavily eaten or ugly leaves.
