This is great confirmation when I think back over my first grow, where the plant will complain, then I tweak things here and there until the newest leaves are happy and praying. So I'll do that with my current grow, increase my ec until I see the tip burn and then back off. I use GH flora mix and cal mag and don't mess with changing the ratios other than use 50% of their suggested because I use coco. Thanks for the err, tip

I use Advance nutrients 2 part system for coco. Both for grow & bloom. Cal-mag plus and silica blast. Works great for me with my rain water that sits at a ph of 7 and a EC of .03 max. Simple yet effective for me.

I thought EC was a universal measurement and touted as being better than non-standard ppm measures. My EC is typically 1.0 in veg up to 1.4 in late flower, which is roughly half the GH suggested EC of 2.3-2.5. What are you using that reads .03?

My rain water has hardly any trace elements. I run a EC of 1.0-1.5 in veg. Flowering I've taken things up to 2 EC but try to stay around 1.5
