Derbybud's New Adventures With Nothing In Particular Going On: We'll See

Big morning today. Got all 4 veg girls cleaned up and trained some. Wil be flipping them next week sometime once I see them recover. They were a mess and I ended taking half the growth off of them. Cages helped pull them apart so now I just need to fight keeping the ph on track which had been a problem with the dyna grow. Might go back to my advance nutrition coco causes when I flip they're going on the auto waterer and I can't be chasing ph twice a day. I really don't understand why it's happening as my water never gets above 68f but the ph changes every 12 hours.

I had trouble with the ph using dynagro in dwc, I still use it in coco but I don’t have a rez. I mix nutes each time I feed so it don’t bother me there but I could not get the ph to stabilize in dwc. I switched to flora for dwc and I love the control, especially with nitrogen. The ph is rock solid with flora to so I’m sticking with flora in dwc lol.✌️

So looked into the frig this morning and rh in the drawer is 88%. Took all bags out and fluffed up the buds and put back into the drawer. We should get some warmer days this week as it was only 19f when I went out to feed the horses this morning. Need to get that frig to cycle some more. Bags were wet and buds feel like mush but that's what they do in the frig. I'll leave the bags open until rh is < 80% then I'll close them till done. Man does the mud room smell nice. Lol

So a look into the frig. Posting pictures to do a tutorial later on drying and curing the derby way.

And please notice that paper bags in the frig to dry them, then into the turkey bags for the cure. NO TURKEY BAGS IN THE FRIG EVER!
Are those the lunch sack sized paper bags?

Are those the lunch sack sized paper bags?
Yes they are. I put about 70 grams per paper bag. I leave them open for the first 3 days or so. I've also changed out the bags before but I think that was myself in a panic. Just remember to bust up/ rotate the buds daily. Also wet side of bag goes up when I rotate the buds. So bottom up on top.

Ok so chop is done on my Super Iced Grapefruit. I finally had a plant that put me into trim hell. Over 3 1/2 hours from 1st cut to into the frig. Glad I only had the one today. Now onto the pix. Over all picture of the girl who took 2-3 weeks longer than advertised.

Next up is a single bud that I trimmed up just to show the size of some of the colas. I think I had 7-8 of these.

But here is what I do with them.
The nugs left were still over 30g

As you guys know I'm not about bag appeal. I grow for my family's meds so I chop things down to smaller buds to help with the drying (more consistency) and curing. This is why I'll never enter BOTM with my little buds. But in the end I'm achieving what I need to. Jars of buds and oil's on the shelf.

Numbers came out pretty good. 804g wet less 80% is 160.8g or over 5 oz's. I was thinking 4 so I'm good with this one. Nugs are hard and dense and smell awesome. The whole house smells awesome. Lol to the wife's dismay Haha
Just to show you her structure
Well thanks for stopping by for a look and hope everyone had a great Saturday evening.
