Derbybud Does CBD Strains In Coco & More

To do it right Dobe you're going to want to take the driver off of that new light and move it out of the tent anyway to keep as much heat out as possible. Don't let the diy keep ya from doing it. I'll pm you next week with a full show ya how easy it is. If you can get boards and drivers on that side of the wall I can send ya the rest with instructions. We can do this. I'm busy till next week but I'll get with ya.
And you are killing it this grow as I think everyone is. Good grows going on right now. Lots of talent in these journals

Thanks Derby. You and others sending me messages of encouragement on going this route has me increasingly thinking I’ll go that way after all. I’m just intimidated when it comes to an area where I’m far from an expert. To an extent it sound similar to building PCs which I have some experience with. I will definitely hit some of you guys up for help if and when I need it.

What's your space like dobe? My wife hasn't even ever smoked lol. Hates the smell and I get er done! Do you run a carbonfilter? Those vipars do run hot AF!

I’m in my basement, in a 4x4. Temp at lights off is steady 21c. I have a ~200CFM exhaust fan with a carbon filter hooked up. Go out in my back yard where it vents and if you’re sniffing around within a few feet of the vent, you can get some smell here and there. In the house, lights come on at 8 and I open the tent and leave it open for the night. Temps stay low 20s. I close it again before I leave for work. When I get home from work the smell isn’t too bad. But when I open the tent at 8 in no time it’s really noticeable inside.

I’m running 2 ViparSpectras and I just don’t see another option without replacing the lights with something that runs cooler, or buying an expensive AC. I’d much rather spend the money on new lighting since I need an additional light anyway, so that I can move a Vipar back into my veg tent.

Dobe, no! Bad dog! Don't spend another $500 for something you can do for what's already in your wallet. Check out the Samsung F Series builds in this link. You have a 550 killer in your wallet right now. I'll put my $500 Samsung strip builds against a $1000 550 system any day of the week. More flexibility, expandability, and the same LED chips are used in both.

edit: the LedGardener is awesome in that he incorporates his and other's design ideas and does the behind the scenes magic to bring it all in and present it as a whole. I don't know where he gets the time, but we're fortunate that he does.

Thanks. You and others are definitely sending me down the right path from the sounds of things. And the idea of pulling the trigger now and having them for my next run of flower makes it that much more intriguing.

@DobeWan - Hey DW, if your wife can't stand the smell you could buy some white dessert sage (am*zon) and light that and it will fill up the house and get rid of that smell. You too DB, anyone else who has a partner that hates the smell, this is what I use and my place never smells. Most women love the smell of sage and you can burn it right before you open the tent, and right after. It won't set off the fire alarm because there is no carcenagens in the sage, but it's a powerful smell that will battle any fragrant scent and no incense can compare.

This is a good tip G2HM, thanks, I’ll look into it.

I have a volcano and my wife has a stand-alone diffuser too, and she runs the diffuser with some essential oil before bed which combats the smell in the bedroom.

I don’t know, to an extent I view stinky plants as a good problem to have. :D

No rush. I have 3-4 different clip on - most are really difficult to get a good picture when holding by hand.
I think allot has to do with the phone. My wife bought me a killer Galaxy note 8 for Christmas. She knew I wouldn't buy something like that for myself and it takes some incredible pictures. I'll be home later this evening and I'll get it posted

@Troy01 here is the lens kit I bought last week. It has a tri pod that holds your camera, telephoto lens, macro lens, wide angle lens, and a Bluetooth shutter. Works well.

And a few pictures I took with it about 10 min ago

I think I paid about $16. USD for it off of zon

Gonna order one tomorrow!!!! Sweet. and I have the same phone I think. 20 megapixel so I'm excited to see what it can do!
