Yeh that should ROCK my flower tent. I have the White Widow, CBDream, and a CBDutch treat in one side with my light and I'm taking my smaller 2 Dutch treats and vegging them at least 2-3 more weeks and will throw them into the other side with the 3 HLG 260 kits. The kits are more powerful but if I can keep my heights right my light should do fine. I'm shocked at how well these panels do for vegging being a 3000k spectrum
It's the amount of diodes on the board. 2 260 watt kits would be good but I'm going to be running 3 on 1 side of my 8x4 tent and my light in the other. My light isn't as powerful as the kits but I didn't have to run heat sinks that come with the kits. I'm running a fan over them from the top of the tent and they stay so cool. My temps outside the tent are 66-69f and on top of my canopy it's about 75-78f. I'm still only running my light at 360 watts and it maxes out at 580 watts. At 360 watts with the light about 8-10" above my canopy I'm getting 900-1100 umols. Once they start to stretch I'll bring the light up more and bring my wattage up so I get great penetration down thru my plants. My plan and I hope out works
I finished up my last grow with it so since October. This is my first grow using them to veg and I'm impressed with how they did being 3000k. I did start my seedlings with my mars but that was because I needed heat in the tent last December lol

I did notice more frost the last few weeks once I got my light over them so I think it'll help that carnival for sure. And yes I have a blast doing this stuff. Keep it green
Mine are all quantum boards. The big light I made are 9 qb120 boards. Then I have 3 260 watt kits. Love them.
How many, and what driver's, u using for the 9 lights
One big a$$ driver. HLG-480-C2100A. It does sit outside the tent. I had a big heat problem last summer so I'm doing everything to not have that problem again. Had too many buds that fox tailed on me and couldn't get the Mars close enough to the canopy to really do what I needed that light to do. Do you have a quantum par meter? That's the one tool that really has helped me feel like I have a better chance of knowing what I'm doing. >1000 umols during flower and I should be golden.
Nice looking garden Chris. The meter I bought was under $120. So not too bad but I found out how to use my lights. I think you could buy a $2000 light and just go by how high you should hang it by the manufacture and still not use it to its potential. With a meter you can see that if I move it a couple of inches I get more out of it that you can't see with the naked eye. I would go with more panels or strips cause I'll do anything to keep my heat down. I do like the Growant but love my panels. I might add some far red pucks to have come on 10 min before and after my lights come on as they help wake and put plants to sleep. Everyone has there own opinions. I'm just trying to get the most light with the least heat and I think that this will work for me. I also think you could move your panel down some but without a meter and knowing the temps on your canopy it's just a guess.Dang go Big...lol

Same here on the heat and foxtails. my 600w HPS in my 4x4 was running at 90deg+, tuff when room temps are at 84deg all day
I dont have a PAR meter, arnt those spendy. Been using a phone app to test the light output
Im debating on adding a GROWant 240 in the center of mine, or just buying 4 more QB132 bds and making it a bit bigger
any thoughts?
