Derbybud Does CBD Strains In Coco & More

So mixed up more nutes today. EC 1.23 and ph 6.08 after sitting 1 hour. By morning I should see if that's a bit much. Also snipped the top of the WW.

That WW should love the hair cut. Time to get the lower growths going, then hit them with some of that stalk strengthener for a nice support system. Sounds like you've got a good plan for them derb!

After 3 weeks of veg I start adding silica blast. It helps stem structure and strengthens them. I read somewhere on here it helps keep pests away also. It really helped in my last run as I had no branches leaning over. You want to discontinue it 3 weeks before flush but it really works.

Silica is a good foliar spray. Supposedly the taste is terrible to insects.
 
Sorry to hear Ms Derby has RA too Derby. Hope she can get it managed. If you and Lopin come across anything particularly helpful to the RA as you grow keep me posted. My wife’s been having some success with her current biologic (she’s on Xeljanz now) but is still getting flares. We’re looking into making a topical and G2HM has shared some good info until I can justify getting the Magical Butter Machine.

Will definitely keep ya in the loop on what we find out DW. She does not see a RA specialist until the end of next month. Seeing the same specialist as Lopin. She has been eating a special cookie every night to help her sleep and has tried 2 but she says that messes with her head to much. Lol Lopin on the other hand can eat like 6 and barely is effective by them. I'm hoping this grow turns out well with some higher cbd stains I have going to help them both out some.

My wife really struggles with the buzz part of it too. Would rather not take it than take it and have the head buzz. She’ll only really give in if she’s desperate. It has made me shy away a little from CBD growing. I have Candida seeds but I want to encourage some more experimentation before committing. So I’ve been getting her oils and strains from the medical producers here to get her feet wet with.

I know HashGirl had some success with CBD crew strains, specifically she mentioned the CBD MediHaze I had worked well for her, but my wife didn’t like it. She liked Nordle by CBD Crew though.
 
Has she tried suppositories? The word on this site it that it bypasses the liver and hence you don't get the "euphoria."

Don’t suppose you have a link on how to make them ITS? She hasn’t tried them, none of the LPs here sell them, but if I could make them I definitely would try my hand. Bet my LA Confidential would work well since it’s not a very “in the head” strain.
 
At it's most basic, it's infused coconut oil hardened in the fridge until use. There are any number of ways to make your oil and the one for RA might be different from cancer or IBS or MS. That's a question for the Oil Study Hall journal, where I am yet to find a definitive answer to the question "can suppositories work to promote brain healing?"

And like I said, everything I read here says it bypasses the liver and therefore doesn't get you high regardless of strain.

Thanks - I’m going to get a Magical Butter Machine when I have the extra cash which should hopefully make something such as this a cinch. Then I just have to convince my wife to try a suppository! :laugh:
