Derbybud Does CBD Strains In Coco & More

No drippers with mine. I just use the 1/4" flex tubing and drill holes in it and t it around the pot
I used the soaker 1/4 hose originally for my soil auto, worked fantastic, was very even watering which I couldn't get from drippers

I may start with just the 1/4" hose, trying to get a gallon ish per shot into my DWC tub but minimum time is 1min, so we shall see

So had a bit of time today and did some shopping. Bought 85% off what I need to build another new auto watering system. With 100% chance of rain on Saturday and Sunday I should get this done. So I'm not sure to post it here or start a new journal? And then what section should I put it under? Ok so I'm going to try to do this right with plenty of pictures and hopefully plenty of questions and plenty of input to hopefully help make what I have even better. So where should I start?
DO a new thread designed for auto watering systems?

Here's a picture of my drip halos. 1/4 supply to the T. 5 holes around the perimeter. The 3 wires hanging on it suspends the halo off of my cages. I feed 3-4 times a day for 4 min.

Pics or it never happened

Lol

Looks like I'm going to have to get busy on my watering system, it will be similar to yours. I have 2 of the 12 hose manifolds from irrigation supply I got for MotM wins so I'll use those in my build.

Never mind I just went up and looked :hmmmm:
My iPhone sure doesn’t like this platform. It is really hard to navigate. Anyway,
I think some folks put T instead of drilling holes. When I was setting up my halos my hole making system wasnt too even for flow. Do you actually drill holes? In the halo? Or exacto knife cut them?
I actually drill them. I'll try to get a size. Weeps the water so it's a slow drip not a gushing amount of water.

That would work great on your sog. Once they stretch to put 24 plants on it would be perfect. You might have to run 1" pvc instead of the 3/4 i'm using. This pump would be plenty for that. Just make sure the lines going from the manifold to the drip halos are all the same size in length.

What's the extra pipe with the red valve that comes out of the line from the pump and heads back into the tub?
When I mix nutes I close off the one to the tent open that one and start the pump. It has a cap on it with a bunch of holes drilled into it. That just helps mix the nutes. I start by putting in 3) 2 1/2 gallon containers of rain water. Then if i'm using my silica blast I'll add that to the water and let it mix for at least 20 min before adding my cal mag and other nutes. Once everything is mixed I'll add a fourth 2 1/2 gallon container of rain water along with my Z7. Let it mix a few min. And take my EC & pH readings and adjust from there. I've been doing this for awhile now using the same nutes so i'm pretty good at hitting the numbers where I want them.

Brilliant!

Brilliant!
I'd like to think so but I found someone else doing it when I read research it. I kinda took the best for me from lots of other systems to make mine. I was looking for something I could build and use for me to be out of town and not empty the piggy bank. Now I use it all the time once they get established. Even in veg. Only thing is if you have different feed schedules for different strains you might burn one and the one next to it might want more. Then I'll make my nutes a bit weaker and hand feed the girls who need more once a day by hand when I'm home with a stronger nute supply. They still will get the weaker feeds at 3 or 4 times a day.
