This is why I use EC. It's the constant and if you are taking to someone and tell them to be feeding 700 ppm (parts per million) and he's using a meter that's set up for TDs (total dissolve solids) and he measures ot 700 TDs he's actually feeding at over 1000 ppm which will fry his plant.Ya I get cornfused, the DWC this g has me thinking ppm/ec/tds
I use my tds pen and I'm usually around 600-900 ish
1 EC = 500 TDs
1 EC = 700 ppm
