Dennise - No Longer The Newest Of Newbies - Not Growing In MG - Perpetual

Great update Lady Dee...

Well apparently clone tops like being chewed on by dogs and I didn't hurt the runt baby as much as I thought I did when I repotted her cause they both look real happy all snuggled in their new digs....The temps/humidity are staying steady and I have a total of 6 LED 38par spot lights and the 2 cheapo panels on them until I can get the new Top Led here. I think it is going through customs now so hopefully it won't be to much longer. When The new lights get here I am going to pop 1 of the Wild Thailand seeds and try out the Growology nutes. I need to find out if I can use the Fox Farms soil or what to get to use for soil. I know it shouldn't have any nutes but the only thing I have seen like that is potting soil from the Dollar store and surely that is not what I should use. Is there a particular soil specific that would be best to use?:confused: Other than that I think I got that one. Their nutes really look easy to use. Hopefully I can even do it!..............:circle-of-love: Here's a few shots of the recovering girls in the tent and some sugar shots.....

:yahoo: You are getting so much closer to harvest Dennise! And very nice on the new tent, with all of the new space the girls have they should be chatty Kathy's chattering in delight.
And give that dog a good spanking! LOL
Just catching up, great updates as usual! :thumb:

Wow, I love those shots, Dennise! Well done. ProMix makes a great unfortified soil, and it's very reasonably priced. There are others, as well. Don't know about what's in your local Dollar Store, but you will find that the best soils to use with Growology will also most likely be the most cost-effective ones, too. Good luck!

John

:thanks: Oh thank you so much John and I know you told me that earlier but I couldn't find the post and you have most likely noticed I need a bit of hand holding at times... Well most of the time. I will go online and see where I can get the ProMix as I want it to be as close to perfect of a grow as it can be. :thumb: I really am going to try and show off your product for both our purposes..lol...:circle-of-love:

I use peat moss, perlite, vermiculite and mycorrhizae for my plants. I would mix your soiless mixture in a ratio of 60% peat moss, 20% perlite and 20% vermiculite. If you can get Pro-Mix HP you would only need to add vermiculite and mycorrhizae from the step 1.

And Pro-Mix HP already has the mycos - well chosen ones. Are you sure the vermiculite is necessary, KJC? HP has 27% perlite and no drainage problem at all.

Nice grow, I got my 96x3 topLED after checking out your grow! thank you!! I like it so far, and wanting another one.

I would advise not buying any duct booster fan, you can rig a fan up to wrk better. do you have lowes or home depot or better yet go to any HVAC company and ask to see the fan operate. you can put your hand in front of your mouth and blow.... that will be stronger then a 4" duct booster fan and probably a six incher. they dont have power they are made to work with a inline fan hence the word booster. what ever your exhaust size, make your intake bigger(4" intake 6"inch exhaust). you dont need a intake fan, just some ducting with pantyhose over the end. mayb not even ducting depending on the room it is in. if there is light in the room, the tent is in, during the dark period, then yes ducting is needed to keep light out. exhaust heat from top bring in cool air from bottom.
