Dennise - No Longer The Newest Of Newbies - Not Growing In MG - Perpetual

Yea... I like watching your grows... I've gotta chop the mango sapphire today and still don't have my racks here and they are in use at the shack sooo I guess I'm gonna have to use the laundry rack again... This one shouldn't be as difficult as the weirdo was and I gotta say... The nug I smoked impressed me immensely.... It's really quite good... I really didn't expect it to be... She was so weird growing I almost threw her out several times...:thedoubletake: I'm really glad I didn't... I think I'm rambling cause I really don't feel like doing a harvest... The things I have to do...:;):...:circle-of-love:

Finally got them all loaded and I will start with some Starbud cannabutter delights... I made some orange cranberry bars and they are most excellent....:circle-of-love:

Every time I make brownies they come out to strong. Cracked my head against the wall one time. The one I made last week was a little better.

Nice pic Dennise. The Super hash auto has been put on the list. Can't wait to see has much it weighs dry. I recently a finished CBD Supreme Lemon OG that finished at 2 zips. Looking for more like that. Keep up the good work. :goodjob:

Hey LA you can make some nice hash with the trim. Last harvest I even used the fan leaves on a couple of strains that were covered with trichomes. I usually save them for a couple of harvest then make bubble hash.

Don't believe the breeders info on time...:thedoubletake: It really did take her well over 100 days and I could have harvested her tops and let the bottom go longer...:yikes: But she is looking pretty nice now and I don't think it was 100+ days wasted... I will give ya a smoke report as soon as I can and I will also weigh her up before I jar her up so you will have a pretty good idea of yield.... I am thinking it is going to be a nice weight for an auto....:goodjob:....:circle-of-love:

I've never had any medibles or anything lol. I've got a MB machine but used it only once and left the butter in the freezer for over a year never touching it so binned it off. I don't save trim or anything?? Well I'm gonna from now on for my friend who makes hash etc.
I might have to start a baking me thinks! :)

I love my eatables... especially for bad head days... I would think the Mrs. would like them too... The easiest way to use it in yummy stuff is to just buy a mix of what ever you like... I have found spicey or fruity stuff tastes best IMO.... and where it calls for oil use the same amount of butter (or a little more :;):) It works really well when you don't feel like mixing all the stuff up and it taste just as good if not better some times.... Any who I know your trim would make some excellent butter and I know you have won several butter machines so ya might as well try it....... I just chopped the first Mango Sapphire and Dude... She's dank and sticky and fat nuglets... There was very very little popcorn and I still don't have my racks so I couldn't take the buds off the main stem and weigh it but it's not a bad harvest....:yahoo: and I think the second one will be even better cause of the extended length of veg time......:circle-of-love:

Hawaiian Snow is a stretcher too, so they should play well together. :slide:

I don't like DP for a couple reasons, the only good one being the Skunk genetics that most of the Dutch breeders love(d). I'm not a Skunk fan. :cheesygrinsmiley: I get it - it's a foundational strain - we get a lot of color and taste from Skunk - but I don't like the high, simple as that. And I've run a few real clunkers from DP. I don't believe they have any special hold on the clunker market, but meh - I like the Spanish breeders better - call it brand loyalty. I'm not a fan of European cars either for instance (except the Germans, of course ).

Orange Hill Special turned out pretty well for me, except the orange part - no sign of orange. It had orangey pistils, but no orange aroma or taste, which was the whole idea - I wanted a very orangey strain, ergo OHS - hard to get orangier genetics than that, no? No. Maybe it's the 5+ months of tending a plant. That's disappointing. Kinda stays with a person.

So I hope you get an orangey OHS. It did occur to me that HB might have messed up the Skunk terps ... :hmmm:

My Hawaiian Snow still hasn't popped soil and I'm beginning to worry a bit about her.... She had a nice tap when I put her to dirt and it's the same soil as the other 2 babies were in and they popped fast but hopefully she will be waving in the next day or two.......:circle-of-love:

I hate when you have a good tap root and then nothing. Nice pics, they look snowy. getting back to the super hash. Did you say 100 days. Have you ever left an auto in the tent when you flip to flower or 12 and 12 and did it affect the final product. 100 days is a long time for a small space timer like me.

That's why I called her the weirdo... She threw pistols forever and I actually thought she was going to end up in the burn pile...:yikes: Then I thought I had gotten something mixed up and that she must be a photo but she was flowering under 18/6 sooo she had to be a auto.... I think it was odd genetics but I had decided to let her run as long as I didn't need the room... I'm really glad I did.... After months of throwing huge white pistols she started turning them into tight azz buds... 100+ days is truly worth it for her IMO.... I just didn't expect it because of the breeder info.... I don't know if it is the norm or if I just got a weirdo bean...:yikes:....:circle-of-love:

Thanks Dennise. I'v always wanted to grow a strain with a lengthy flower period as I'v never grew one past 60 days flower. One thing I'v noticed since upgrading to all LED and CO2. It has cut my flower time by 10 to 15 days. So I could cut it to a comfortable 85 to 90. A lot of planning is going into this next grow, just as soon as house guests leaves 10/17.:volcano-smiley:

Good morning folks... I have the dry weight on the auto Super hash and the first of the Mango Sapphire... I gotta tell ya too... I tested the first sample of the Mango Sapphire and there is very little doubt in my mind that after a cure she will be about the best I have ever smoked much less grown... She already taste amazing and is so smooth.... I made the mistake yesterday of testing one of the very few popcorn buds and it sat me on my ass after 2 hits and it lasted for hours... I didn't even want another hit off the bong for a couple of hours and that's amazing..:yikes: but here they are in all their glory....
Hope everyone has a blessed and green day....:circle-of-love:
