Dennise - No Longer The Newest Of Newbies - Not Growing In MG - Perpetual

I have to make a correction... I talked ill of my Secret Jardin tent because I am an idiot....:blushsmile: There is most certainly a vent on each side... it is just fitted so well with the velcros that after having it for 2 years I now know it has vents.... I got to thinking about it after having the conversation and I went in there to look... thinking it's a freaking Secret Jardin... the plastic connectors are bad enough but no vents...:thedoubletake: and sure enough they are there... Honestly though... you know how where the velcro connects there is a hump around the vent... This is completely flush and if you don't run your hand across it... you can't see it... or at least I can't....:geek: Any who just wanted to clear up my lying post...:shhh:....:circle-of-love:

Well b..... you might not want to look...:thedoubletake: She is naked as a jay bird and truly it is a good thing I did it... She was really really thick and bushy in the middle and was starting... just starting to get gunky....:straightface: She is 21 days in bloom under the Mars Hydro 144x5w reflector in the 2'x2' Secret Jardin tent {that's not as big a piece of crap as I thought it was ...:blushsmile:} all by herself... I think she is going to be stacked...:)....:circle-of-love:

If there was ever a journal to subscribe to this is the one. It's got everything a new grower can think of for examples on techniques and setups. I've read quite a bit of it but skipped ahead to show my appreciation for the wonderful thread. I'll be reading for days to come I'm sure, because I can't start reading a new one until I finish this one(that's my rule) I didn't realize it was over 200 pages @50 posts per page. I'd be honoured if you would visit my petty little garden. Only 5 pages Here's to many more hours in the newest newbie' s garden reading away. keep it green my dear, cheers.

You can pretty much jump around and start anywhere ya want to in my journal.... it is perpetual sorta kinda and I most certainly have tried quite a few different things in my grows... I'll be happy to answer any questions you have and if I don't know... which there's a real good possibilty of that...:straightface: I will most cetainly find you someone that will... I see you got yourself a few guard dogs. It must be break time. That's a very nice plant my dear, my compliments to you.

Just looking at that defoliation you did, does that allow the pistols to keep reaching upward to make longer buds? As I've noticed on my plants is when the pistils hit the node above they stop growing and get denser but not bigger. If there was nothing to stop them from reaching for pollen do they keep doing so?

I was looking at the first few pics thinking, well that isn't too much, just about right then realized it was the before pic. :thedoubletake: Way to show her who's boss!

Oh they will keep reaching and growing... I do it because it opens up the plant for better light penetration for the lower buds and I don't end up with all the little pop corn buds at the bottom.... I don't lollipop my girls so this let's those small buds at the bottom get bigger and ripper.... I was taught by KingJohnC to do my defoliations on day 21-25 and day 45 of flower... By the time day 45 is here she will look like I have never taken a leaf off of her... {cover your ears b....} and I will probably strip her naked again at day 45.... I have a problem with high humidity here too and if I let them get to tight and full with the humidity this high... I'm afraid I will end up with mildew or mold...:thedoubletake:...:circle-of-love:
