So backbuilding your buds :) it is no way cutting the top 1/3 off your buds. That would detract from the whole process. You snip about half of 3-4 individual calyxs that sit at the very tip. As long as you catch the very tip of the stem your golden :)
As for when its up to you :) I go around half way through flower or just past, yet Ii dont actually time it but go by eye! :)

So to repeat, its a tiny amount you snip off :) :)

I have one experiment going currently to get the same result. Won't know for sure until she gets bigger.

I was a bit confused on this at first as well, SG. But the pictures LA posted on the process really helped.
I was going to try it on a couple of plants, but they are almost ready for harvest so it really wouldn't do much good right now. I'm going to try it with some other plants within a month or so.

Honestly Dennise, it's absolutely horrible what's happened lately, in Paris Turkey Syria etc... But don't worry for your own safety, I understand others, but your safe.. There's a lot out there that profit off of this shit, fearmongers.. Your got to see through the fed bullshit, concerning your direct well fair, then try help/sympathise for those directly affected... I ask the question, regarding I/s. If our own countries wanted this to stop, the g8 g20 u.n (whoever) they could finish an army of 10,000 tomorrow. Why are they allowing Syria to get out of control? I've got lots of ideas as to why, but that starts dirty debates and politicised/ religionised arguments, lol...

Happy Saturday everybody... Hope your wake and bake was amazing...:yahoo: I want to do my final smoke reports on the WW and Ultra Lemon Haze auto... the WW has impressed me immensely.... when I first tried her I thought Umppp... it's OK but now... I can't smoke it until right before I want to go to sleep... It smokes like you are breathing just air... very mellow with just a hint of citrus on exhale... it starts in the head and in short orders has moved to the body and makes you feel like a rock..... it certainly has helped me sleep better than I have in a very long time... it most certainly is what you would call couch lock... I don't remember what I originally gave her but I would say she is an easy 7+..... the auto ULH... the cure has helped her too but not like the WW... she started out much stronger than the WW from the start but the cure did not improve her nearly as much as it did with the WW.... she is however extremely potent IMO and I love the taste... just a hint of floral now on inhale but it is still like someone squeezed a lemon in your mouth on exhale.... it starts in your ears and then the ringing moves to your whole head.... I can focus and concentrate much easier on this one for daytime but if you hit on her throughout the day by the time evening comes around.... I'm a trashed puppy.... I would give her a easy 7....:)
OK here's a few shots of the Tut... she is working on her second set of true leaves... I also put a couple of shots in of how I have things set up now... Nothing but the little tent... I'm actually kinda happy to have my room back and not a mess...:straightface:......:circle-of-love:

Just harvested my WW yesterday and I cannot wait to try this one out. It's a clone of the mother plant.

I hope you adjust okay to not having so many plants to tend to, I don't know what I would do if I had to suddenly do that again.

Your new baby has a loverly color and looks spunky.

Gender issues for sure. Is it a boy king that wants to be a girl? Or a girl that wants to be a boy king? As long as his/her flowers are beautiful I don't see a problem.
