Hey Dennies, just doing a drive by on my way to your new journal, looks great, nice recovery on your baby.

Congrats on your new title!!!!

I wanted to weigh in on the 2% milk idea. I know you now have the cal/mag, so will be using this product, but the milk thing;

Using skim milk is perfectly fine in conjunction with magnesium sulfate to water plants. Do not use milk with any fat at all. This is the part of the milk which gets rancid and will contaminate your soil and air! PU

Fat in animal products also attracts roaches, rats, mice and a lot of other things, so avoid using it in soil, compost or anywhere in soil.

Only use powdered skim milk. I've used in in differing strengths. The lowest I'd used was 1/4 cup to a gallon of water, up to a full cup to a gallon of water. I would not suggest using this method repeatedly indoors.
You know Brooklyn, I didn't even realize Lady Dee had typed 2% fat free milk until you pointed it out. Everything I read during my research on using milk as a calcium supplement in plants said fat free or skim. That's really what caught my interest because that's what we drink. Good catch. I'd hate for a member to destroy a plant following my lead. Sorry for not paying close enough attention everyone.

Congrats on your new title!!!!

Thanks, Reg. I don't think you would destroy a plant using the animal fat, but it sure would mess with the hygiene...indoors for sure.

There is another interesting fact about milk. If people drink milk for the calcium, they need to stop that immediately. Milk is very difficult to digest and it actually removes calcium from your bones to digest it. This can be looked up. I didn't make it up.

OOps, Mark just walked in. Gotta go give 'em a kiss.

I dont see how someone such as your good self could ever offend on here lady D :) your truly the nicest and warmest of people :)

:thanks: Thank you so much Light and today I needed to hear you say that so thank you again. Seems the chemo for the MS is kicking my ass today...Apparently from the pm I got from cannafan I bothered and offended more than one person by asking them to visit my new journal because they are not my friend. I am sorry but I need to pop off of here or I am going to type things I really shouldn't. Give my love and best to Light's Light and know I love ya to death my friend and I will be posting pics of the AK flux baby in a bit. Have a wonderfully green day.....:circle-of-love:

OK I'm over the petty people and stuff and ready to get back to business. I am going to have to go get some more flux wire and then I am going to have to go find the flux Master..... The side limbs just started growing really fast and I am kinda lost in all of it and can't quit figure the sides out Light so when I get back and get it set kinda like I think it should be I will get her posted so you can tell me what to do whit all this......
I have all the other girls on a 4 day watering all at once so their update won't be until tomorrow.....
Hope everyone has a blessed Saturday and your garden is green.....:circle-of-love:

OK Light ..... The first pics are what we started with and the last 7 I think it is are what I have done. What I need to know is what do I do with all the stuff that is growing out the sides? I understand the long ways and what to do at least until it reaches the sides of the pot but I can't figure out the limbs at all. Please advise to what I need to take off and where..... I am still in total disbelief of how quickly the limbs took off. I didn't notice them at all day before yesterday... Growing like a weed...:yahoo:....:circle-of-love:

Nice job my friend! :)
Now for the limbs; simply just take all growth off except a nice full bunch of foliage at the very branch end/tip. You dont have any leaves coming off the branches. I dont let any new nodes along the branch form at all. I nip em off as soon as I see em.
Once stripped, leaving the end foliage, you will have to just nip of fans and stuff every 4-5 days as the branch extends and leaves foliage down the branch. :) :)
