Dennise - No Longer The Newest Of Newbies - Not Growing In MG - Perpetual

I actually was going to go ahead and chop the NLxBB but the faucet on the outside hose just inside the siding on the house apparently froze and busted during the last little cold snap and is leaking behind the siding and under the house and where it was busted it was shooting water up under my kitchen floor so needless to say my poor fella is not enjoying his time off. I'm so glad we went riding the other day or most likely wouldn't get to go at all. I feel really bad for him cause all the help he has is me and so he has no help per say. It's amazing how everybody disappears when ya need help. The house is just on a slab with only about 18" crawl space and my fella is not what you would call a small man by any stretch of the imagination and the thought of me up under this house is not in the realm of a possibility. He is not fat at all but his chest is huge and he is something like 6'2" and 220lbs so if it was someone else other than him I would be laughing my ass off but not when it is him. I like him and there are not to many people in the real world I like........:circle-of-love:

explain foliar feed. add nutrients yes but very little. and its very week stuff too. 4-0-5 and 6-0-4 fertilizer mix. flora bloom I think what its called.

oh take note water here is bad. very bad. I have to use spring water from grocery store some times. but I spray the leaves with squirt bottle and I might chem burnded them. or idk. strange only 3 leaves has it right now. but like get control over it now. than wait.

foliar feed as in spraying the plants or misting them with a spray bottle or something
kinda looks like nute burn

Yes I do that. but only few times a week. and that might be it. since I used water from the tap last few weeks. But I leave water out for few days to let all chem evaporate some. been doing fine till this time. I guess. but you don't think its a calcium or mag def. or heat stress.

Last but not least my fella drilled out the holes in my flux pot for me and I think it is going to work nicely. If you notice something I have missed please let me know....:circle-of-love:

See Lady Dee, this is a lot of the reasons your grows come out so well; PREPARATION!

I am not using FF anymore cause it would burn my plants, the flowering trio is particularly hot from my experience.

But it could have been me just sucking!
I know this feeling Cdaddy.

And the spots may also be from the foliage feeding if you're doing it any other time then right before lights out. The light can hit the water drops & cause small burn spots. I had that problem when I first started and then read about it on someone-else's journal so I stopped spraying the leafs.

Oh No GrayHawk if you are spraying them with the water from the tap around here that is most certainly your problem and I highly suggest you use purified water vs the spring water in a bottle from around here too. I don't know why but the only thing I have been able to use around here is purified or distilled water but certainly not the tap water. I got a notice from the city and they were telling us that we can drink the water now cause there was only 9 contaminants in it. REALLY!!! Only 9 but they were within safe limits. MY AZZ!!!!! Try stopping all of the above and see what happens and I bet you will be fine.....:circle-of-love:

Oh I'm having a fine day. Now the fella might disagree but it is all fixed now and it wasn't near as bad as he was afraid it would be and with me as a helper how could anything go wrong. ROFLMAO......:cheesygrinsmiley::cheesygrinsmiley::cheesygrinsmiley:....:circle-of-love:

:yahoo: I think we should start a #'s board for the weight of the 2 girls I am going to chop.... My fella says he gives the first guess at 224 grams wet.... I say 196 grams wet. Guess we might have somewhat of an advantage in that we are looking at them but with all the pics everyone should have a pretty good idea of the actual size..... Come on everybody give it a good old Easter try...:circle-of-love:

well either I use the water out of the airconditioner or I buy pure water from the store I just ran out and its been cold so I haven't had any a/c water. acid in a/c water is perfect for it. I tried use water from tap before but never could get any to sprout. so I got that perfected and now. this. so yeah I never thought of it. I try not to use it but I have other plants. tomatoes and peppers all in greenhouse. n I get in habit using tap water.. soon as I get greenhouse completed 18'x25' and covered. ill put most my stuff in it. and let natural rain water run in a filtration system. lots of plans no money to do it. you know. poor man. lol

Also if you are applying your foliar spray with the lights on the water droplets can act like a magnifying glass and burn your leaves. Best to foliar spray an hour or two before the lights turn on. Any sooner than two hours and you run the risk of creating mold and mildew issues. Also i only use foliar spray once per week, maybe applying too oftain? I spray once per week the day after I feed.

looks like fertilizer burn from splash back

is the whole plant covered in rust spots or just some leaves that get wet with the mix?

no spraying for me here for the reasons mentioned above and also the roots are strong enough to eat if they're healthy :thumb:
