I have to admit Garden it really did feel kinda naughty and I was in a really bad mood and at first I felt kinda bad about it and like I had taken my day out on them but then I look at them today and they are loving life. The difference in the air flow through them is amazing and the bottom that was getting all smishiy is now growing bud again this quick so I guess the moral of this story my girls are in to S&M......:circle-of-love:

My windows are open right now and I can hear the birds singing and the big stupid dog is laying in the front yard. The flowers are already starting to bloom and the hills are starting to turn green. It is my little slice of heaven.......:high-five:

Well here we go with the Clone family 3 as they strip down to bare bones. I cannot believe how sticky and smelly these girls are. They are the clones from the original closet girls that were so tall and you couldn't see the sugar on the mothers ever with the naked eye but you sure can on these girls. They are covered in sugar and with the loupe they are covered with trichs and probably as many as when the mothers were harvested. I can tell which plant came from which mother though cause if you remember 1 of the mothers had really straight hair on her buds and one was a red head and one had really curly hairs and the clones are doing the same things but the difference in how they are being grown is shining through. They will never be covered like the current closet girls (SBR, NLxBB and AKxWW) that are in flower cause I can honestly say I have never seen anything like them before except out of some of the journals on here but never in real life but compared to the mothers I am in awe of them.....:circle-of-love:

I really hope I like the SBR smoke cause I had a little mishap when I was doing the defoliation on the SBR in bloom in the closet and cut a little limb off the bottom so I am trying to clone her which will give me plant #5 of her but none the less I want to keep her alive if I can so send her some good karma please..........:circle-of-love:

GREAT UPDATE! I am considering the dark side in my current grow and doing the defol thing and you are definitely giving me encouragement with those pics. They look great!

How did you do your clone there may I ask? Did you just take the broken limb and stick her in soil? Cloning gel? Any little slices etc? Just put a clear solo there for the greenhouse? Inquiring minds want to know. And :Love: is being actively projected towards her right this very moment!

Well Doc I must admit I am a member in good standing of the THC club...:loopy: But after I cut it I just stuck it in a bottle of water for a minute until I could get my zhit together and then I cut her at a 45 degree angle under water. Don't know if that really matters as plants can't really have anurisms (can't spell) but I have read it so many times on here I do it just in case then I scraped the sides on the end just a little bit and put it in cloning powder then in the puck thingy watered with purified water a just a drop of Super Thrive just for good luck then nipped her leaves and set her on top of a gladware top and covered that with the bottom of the gladware.... TaDa....:high-five:

Actually I used Mommy's Special Tomato Soil. I've had 100% germination rate with it but it's day 3 & still no signs of this OG. If & when she sprouts she'll be placed in a combo of Scientific Soils, Happy Frog, & Vermiculite.
 
So, when you guys transplant the seedlings into soil, are you using nutrient rich soil or still plain? I have four seedlings in Jiffy Pellets and want to put them into 4" containers, then to a gallon then into the ground. What interim soil would you recommend? I don't know that I have access to the named soils you speak about. How would a peat/coir/finished compost/perlite mix work?

I am no pro, but I have used 1/2 nute rich soil, and 1/2 coco successfully...

Thank you guys. I am so grateful for all the answers to the questions I have. I apologize a lot, and I know Dennise, you don't like when I do that, but the last month my serum ammonia level is elevated and I have mild encephalopathy which is making it difficult to remember anything from one minute to the next. Mid sentence I completely forget what I am talking about and even when my hub reminds me I can't pick back up. It is a very disturbing thing. Do we have any nutritionists out here in 420 land? PM me if you are.
