DD Stable Of Impermanence

A Canadian versus a New Zealander in a battle of politeness, who would win?

Thanks for the tip!!! The symptoms appeared immediately after the exercise concluded, so thankfully I didn't have to deal with it in the field. But that's really good to know.
I'll raise a bottle of fine maple syrup to that epic battle

Thanks Joe, I never heard of "poutine" great looking it up and learning. :thumb:
Shit the front door seriously ? All good just go make one now

How wet are you soaking those cubes donkey I am trying to learn myself.
I soaked them to begin with in water with a bit (20% of a dose) of calmag, and a dash of superthrive. I squeezed and shook them out a bit. Hard to know how wet is too wet isn’t it? I like the peat plugs because you know when their tops get light brown you mist them. I’ve never misted the rock wool.
I mist the dome daily, but keep the vents open. Hardening them off is when I mostly kill or stall them. Now when they get in a pot they go on the floor of the tent in the shade for a few days with no fans. I don’t need 100% hit rate for this to work for me.

I keep having to bury the roots that stick out the tops of these at the moment. I must have put the gel too far up the stem.
Fortunately, I have a couple of peat plugs which the cuttings died in. So a teaspoon and a source of sterile soil to keep light off these roots.
Some strains seem to clone more easily than others. Perseverance seems key.

Oh!
1 flat tsp raw cacao
1tsp maple syrup
Few drops vanilla extract
Pinch of salt
Hot h2o and milk to taste.
Best hot chocolate ever. (Apart from one I used to make with ganash).
Nearly the best hot chocolate ever!
After a few espressos and cups of tea it’s this or herbal teas ;) So long as those boats with cacao and maple syrup keep getting through I feel like there is still (?) a future.
And I'll raise you a poutine
OMG we were served this without asking from a takeaways in Westport. We thought they’d lost their minds! It was great we might have to live there.
Thanks Joe, I never heard of "poutine" great looking it up and learning. :thumb:
Me too. I’m reclaiming that phrase from the hashtag. #nakedmetoo. No? No. Ok.
Hey! Gardening.
Here are some flowers starting on a hulklato (same plant as the cutting above) with a more mature hulklato in the background (also the same plant).

The one in the foreground is the same height as the older one and still has at least another week of stretch. I noticed with the first one though that it never really stopped reaching.
To keep the canopy flat I can lower the risers to make adjustments.
I thought I was going to have to mount the dehumidifier up high and lose some headroom, but this works more betterer.

The ones on the right are just starting their stretch. Room for more yet.
Cool fun.

The reveg is on penalty time, just starting week 11. Already smoked a branch. She’s not there yet.
Hafta start to move a CPK or two into bigger pots to replace her, or it’s the other Alaskan Purple. We’ll see how we go.

I hope you’re all going well. Thanks for looking in.
:yummy::love::smokin:

Yes happy weekend donkey and company :420::green_heart::passitleft:

From canada the ones who try to leave thier egos at door . Minus our prime minister I apologize for that rich boy into politics . We need a real person running the country not come from moneylike Trump . Well you know .

I respect your leader in new Zealand I would move thier so fast if Erin would rush a new life . Your leader has went through a pandemic, a volcanic eruption and a major terrorist attack.

You guys stay together we as people can say no I am not killing others for the leaders of the worlds mistakes.
Sorry ranting .

That is common sense, not ranting. With all my heart I wish it were so here, Joe. Have an awesome day.

One day fredwak maybe not in our era brotha but we can hold strong to show our children and youth control and we choose love and standing beside each other the true meaning of United .

I never understood why they seperate all are parties ndp conservative party grebe party liberals etc ...

Why does one have to have control over it all. Why can't they work together for the this or our countries ?

Egos at door they must forgot the memo..

Millions of lives over how bad as I can be .

Is that a rant ? Lol.

Cheers, ears. You too, eh?

Thanks Fred.
My eye is always drawn to the Freewheeling Franklin quote in your signature. I used to have those freak brothers posters. Still got all the comics :high-five:

Sing it how it is, brother!
:cough: <——- microphone
I liked the small stories on the bottom of the pages like fat Freddy cat and how the frisbee was invented. Wish I had em. Got an R. Crumb anthology though. Keep on truckin!

Hiya.
Just a coupla bits and pieces.
Scrodinger dropped a couple of these out of the dome in the last few days.
This one I had to take a picture to zoom in and see if one of those white things was a root. You have so much to ‘look’ forward to if you’re little.
So yeah. Good to have something more viable on the right side of the entropy curve, and in soil.
After the limited success of the ‘aqua’lato’ we are aiming for more of that good rosin. @Stunger ( :ciao: Kiaora Koro) had the same experience as us: you rub it on some things and straight away you wonder if it ever hurt. It is remarkable. It doesn’t touch deeper pains, but for some things it is quite unbelievable.
More research required.
I was relieved to find this looking at me after twelve days.
I didn’t realise I’d been holding my breath til I saw it. Seedlings give me the willies
I am stoked to be running something so close to both the blueberry (an old fave) and jack herer (a possible new fave - the cinderella comes from the princess pheno of a herer cut). Thanks again, Joe. Looks like she’ll make it.
Now, after sixteen days hanging the final weight is in for Isabelle Red. We got over 18.1 ounces from this plant! From her (my) first harvest at the end of July last year til finishing now with a modest 1.3.
She’s been lovely. And she’s been nearly half of everything we’ve harvested at 18 of 41mumble ounces. I figure if she was a perfect match for either of our ECS’s we’d know by now.
The next to come down will be the Isabelle Purple reveg in a few days’ time. She’ll tide us over to this one..
.. and then we’ll be rolling. (Joints).
Here’s our next hulklato looking much friendlier than she was the other day
E69BCA95-154E-4488-A210-EAFFF61717CF.jpeg

She looks so much greasier in the dark.
Jar stock is down to just four buds of this one’s parent plant and a small pile of cbd flowers - which mix really nicely with Isabelle. I’m a lucky donkey.
Bring on the meds.
Geez. The lifeproof case my phone is in is hanging in tatters in my hand. The lorikeet was clearly having a party. Possibly one of the least well named phone accessories ever.
It’s minus about a million degrees outside here. Having just declared myself lucky I cast a thought to all those donkeys shivering in their paddocks with blankets on if they are lucky. It’s all relative, innit? (Unless you’ve got mine. Nothing lucky about having my relatives.)
Anyway. Stay warm, folks. Unless you’re in that heatwave up north in whaddayacallit? Summer! That’s it. You guys stay cool.
:love::peace::cool:

Koro. You’re like my totara here, whatever that means ;)
Thanks for being solid.

Sis :green_heart:this is why I adopted you. You are more actual help to me than my actual useless family.

A good writer can right a lot of wrongs and you were already one of my favourites before you wrote that.
I don’t know what godawful concatenation of circumstances left you with the respect for language you clearly have. Maybe you started out good, IDK how these things happen.
Thank you for your message.

That does sound horrid, Sy. I hope it’s sorted now? Acid leaking outside of its safe space has got to hurt!
(Unless it’s hydroflouric acid which doesn’t give any chemical burn at all, but soaks straight in to your CNS. One of the first symptoms of toxicity is death, according to the MSDS sheet it used to come with.)

Chronic pancreatitis is what we are currently hanging my wotsits on.
That said there were radiology remarks on my last CT scan that I haven’t had my surgeon’s interpretation on. So I don’t fully understand what’s happening.
I too wanted the pain to stop (thank you) until the specialist said he thought it would likely never not hurt. That confused me.
Not least because of this exchange: “so, you don’t know why it hurts?”
“No.”
“But it will never not hurt?”
“Correct.”
(I mean ffs wake me up! Does that sound like a clinician to you?)
The cream on the pudding with this guy was his receptionist (filling in for the regular lady who compiles all the clinicians’ case files the day before they are needed)...
“Morning, DonkeyDick to see the Dietician”.
“Dave.”
“What?”
“You are DonkeyDave. That’s what it says here.”
And the ensuing conversation wherein she described to me that [meathead] the surgeon hasn’t been looking at me and my notes at the same time in a year!
Sorry, I know I already mentioned it and I don’t want to get a reputation as eeyore, but my head is still spinning a bit, that’s all. Finding that out on my way to quit my job really gave the day a special flavour.
I can’t even afford to sit the guy down and ask him what the hell happened because my insurance was part of my salary!
As a (former) metalworker I’m familiar with things being irony, but not like this.

So thank goodness for home grown meds! And thanks to an even greater good that 420Mag exists and you have all been able to help so much.
I was floundering a year ago with seedlings/small plants that just wouldn’t die. Could I get them to grow though? Could I hell!
Now look, you buggers. Look what you’ve done.

Keep up the good works, everybody.
Bring on the meds!
:love::peace:
Kills me to read this is such a bad time D. Even the garden takes energy and time. I hope you can now get some financial assistance from Health debt on some way. Hearing your health is down still and may take while to get a decent support network on board but it does sound like work would have been really harmful and more damaging than reworking finances if possible. An alive, temporary skint Donkey would get my vote over a fallen brother everytime. I don't mean to belittle your position at all mate , just mean alive and slowly healing is preferable than a worked to death good tax payer. Oeace and love brother
Garden looks amazing too. Babies nice and healthy looking. Just as it should be
