DD Stable Of Impermanence

Fucking hell that's a little slip up.lol I panic about the wrong size rizzla!.
Fear not for I now have the correct tool for the job :snowboating:
IMG_20200606_150440.jpg

For flower: 115*C for 90 min.
Wrap it up in tin foil first, then leave it in the pouch after the decarb and freeze it overnight. This is supposed to help with terpene retention.
Have never frooze it..i will try It though .was told once it cooled down the tin foil.to put into freezer til ready to extract

Whew! Took a bit of reading but am finally all caught up, in this amazing grow thread. DD, great work and as it's been said I'll say it anyways....you got a way of making people smile. Was having a rough day due to pain, and am in a much better mood now, thanks :high-five:

Carry on brother :passitleft: I'm in for the ride!

Good to see you man:passitleft:
Thanks again for dropping a care pack behind enemy lines. It went from MIA to OMG. I suspect I’ll be paying this forward a while.
Sometimes I’ll have a decarb pouch sit in the freezer just long enough for me to organise the infusion. I think once it stayed overnight in there.

That is the nicest thing I could have read.
It took me out at the knees. Thanks for taking the trouble to write that.
That rough day + pain vs mood thing —-> just happened to me :thanks:

Isabelle Red
She is coming to the end of her last run.
I’m still running Isabelle Purple and we have seeds from Isabelle Blue.
Even though the plants all looked different to each other I am guessing they are phenotypes of the same thing because of their strong and unusual mango flavour.
Red will be discontinued. She has the least pleasing structure of the three and as you can see from the pictures her flowers are extremely leafy. This gives her a cough not shared by her sisters and it takes quite a bit of curing to get it to come right.
She is next for the chop in the Stable. She is about to start week ten of 12/12 and has been in drought for over a week.
For science.

When I said
You can’t possibly know what any of this means to me.
in the MOTM thread I was referring to the serendipity of your support.
A lot of shitty things are happening to a lot of good people in general right now, and much as I hesitate to add my bellyaching, fair to say manure is manifest in many forms.
Believe it or not it took you collectively beating me over the head with the motm to help me realise some of you care. There.
So here.
Today I went to the nutritionist again. She shares a reception with my surgeon. The receptionist got confused and cross at me. ‘Dick? No! Di.. That’s not right. No! It says here Donkey someoneelseentirely. That’s not you?’
So. Hmm. The surgeon hasn’t always been looking at my notes. Often looking bewildered, but not always at my sheet.
So that’s been part of it.
And we found that out on our way to give this to my boss
D6628256-BF15-4243-974C-701253209CAD.jpeg

and took my tools home before going to the doctor to go on donkey disability.
What a day.
Now stop saying I never tell you things, lover.

Shitty things happen all around but you know what Donk, if life chucks you a lemon you make lemonade, run up that mountain, see there is a better place the other side, it's just sometimes a long way round to get there.

concentrate on yourself youve earned it.:peace::passitleft:

Dude Your so not alone donkey bro .

Itz not just you brotha

Keep Yoru head up bud .

Keep faith buddy , stay strong .

DD your popcorn is bigger then my cola? How does one make the branch become the bud?
:snowboating::laugh:
I shall put some useful links back in my signature. Cheers HF. There’s only a couple of things I’m doing, but because they work for me I keep doing them.
One is setting up the frame at the base of the plant when it first grows.
This is so that the plant treats every branch (hormonally) like it’s the main (apical meri)stem. This thread Quadsquad got me started if you’d like to read more.
This is the frame from the first Hulklato
B127C16C-8C7E-40FA-96A8-29926041AF9D.jpeg

Trying to keep a flat canopy I train til flip, then I mostly take my hands off apart from this one other thing.
After three weeks of flowering (four or five weeks after flip in some cases) comes the strip.
This is Hulklato 1.1 (the current one)
C60AD7D4-6B6C-45BE-BC83-6CF0210E8FA7.jpeg

This is the 21 day defol. I have removed all of the big fan leaves.
I don’t have experience with many strains, but mostly this strip will stop stretch.
Sure there’s airflow and light penetration, but I also see a benefit from the shock value of the HST. They’ll stack after this.
6048AA03-11A8-4339-A4B9-EE6B8E536BEC.jpeg

This is the same plant with the individual flowers starting to join up on the stems.
That’s your three phases of flower, isn’t it? Set, Stack and Swell. Three weeks each, give or take.
And that’s one technique to apply to each of the first two stages. A third I’ve just started playing with is preharvest drought stress. You can see the week that Isabelle Red had in this post at @Maritimer ’s. First time out of the traps I have to say I am impressed enough with an apparent increase in resin to do this again. I am expecting to see a significant increase in rosin return by weight.
Also, I’m turning each pot 90 degrees every day for symmetry and because i’m not just a donkey.

REZINATION HARVESTING
Resinization is a cool word I either made up or someone else is pretty cool. LOL. It sounds so much better than the drab preharvest drought.
You will see feel and taste the difference. :hookah:

Just went to see. Gorgeous new smoosh face puppy pictures!
I don’t know the strain, but I’m seeing lots of frost in the fans if your white Tahoe cookie. This seems to say she’s further along in flower than I normally do it. She will be at a different place hormonally - she won’t be rocking her growth auxins the same way anymore.
Where she might have skipped a day or two back then if you do it now she might take a couple of weeks to come right. It could cost yield not add to it and I wouldn’t like to make the call.
I would suggest if you have clones of her for another run that you can compare different treatments alongside, but do it from the start.

:thanks:‘S.

Hey DD

Sorry to hear you are consulting with a surgeon. I’m assuming you are in talks for a penile reduction (When I picture you that viral covid meme comes to mind. If I had a dollar for every meme variation I received of that I could retire. If you missed it google covid penis meme).

I really hope you’re okay and I’m sending you healing vibes. Xo

Oh and if you are looking to donate an inch, my man will take it. :laughtwo: :laughtwo: :laughtwo:

Funny stuff, TraLa.
I hadn’t heard any good dick gags ( !!) in a while.

Hey DonkeyDick! :ciao: I’m late getting back to the party here but big congratulations on the MOTM award for all your wonderful contributions to thIs community.
:circle-of-love: :thanks:
So. One of the cool things about the chemistry of the decarb is you can see it happening with rosin
:bravo:

On oven decarb, I always used to use “110@110” as my easy to remember motto - 110minutes at 110ºC.

I’ve now got an Ardent Nova Lift as well. But for the folks wondering about oven decarb’; granted it is unreliable, yes, largely because everybody’s mileage will vary but, @InTheShed uses the foil pouch method (I got it from him) and he had an oil lab tested that indicated he got a full decarb (no acid cannabinoids present) so it is definitely possible, just not possible to know for sure. I really like the ease and confidence I get w the Lift.
Does anyone with a dehumidifier feed that water back to the plants again? Between fertigation and transpiration it would just go round and round.
:Thumb: glad to see @candycane also does this. I know @neikodog uses his dehuey water and the A/C water, almost exclusively, for his amazing grows.
:smokin2::yummy:
I hope you’re all as well as can be.

:passitleft: same to you DD - sounds like you’re figuring out how to make some necessary adjustments. It’s never easy and always worth it

Oh and FYI ;) i named that particular batch of topical oil ‘liquid light’ because it was made with the Candida buds, which is Latin for ‘bright light’ - so it was named special for the Candida ... but all our oils are a magical potion so liquid light still works! Just clarifying for my OCD :D And speaking of working, I was super glad to read of the relief the topical gave you on your hand - i hope that’s continuing!
:Namaste:

big congratulations on the MOTM
Kind words, cuz :high-five: Did you know this whole business reminded me of a card I saw years ago. It took a while to find. Some things (not donkeys) haven’t dated at all.

Apropos that, I also found this by the same brush - cute.
95BEB6B9-8A68-4696-9C33-69E1C7C9A774.jpeg

Not to minimise the honour at all, just been thinking of that cat these past weeks.
‘bright light’ - so it was named special for the Candida
Thank you for that. I also prefer precision where possible. It’s been a while since fourth form Latin. The next almond oil/ rosin conbobulation shall be discretely named. It’s likely to be liquid Isabelle since she’ll be the next up for rosin.
My Candida in veg is almost ready for a bigger pot.
I was super glad to read of the relief the topical gave you on your hand - i hope that’s continuing!
I sent it up the line and haven’t heard yet. I found it very good. We are lucky enough to have a pain cream I’d made earlier to use instead.

It will be a few weeks til there is rosin. I just cut her down yesterday.

Still yellow from her week that was, but her leaf angle is up again. Well, upside down I mean.

I hope the weekend’s treating you well, folks!

Isabelle red is going to keep you barber shop busy.
She's looking nice and happy, you have obviously not alerted her to the fate that awaits.

Hope the weekend is treating you kindly DD.
