Waitangi weekend photo dump

If pictures could talk, these ones would say something like..

Happy holiday :ciao:

Busy busy!! :cheer:
It’s been messed up, finding the opportunities to get into the garden for one thing, let alone have anything to show for it.
We are having some long overdue work done on the house and cats can’t tell if they are topsy or turvy round here atm.

Look, though..

Nice job on the clone splitting! Now just to find some room... :hmmmm:
Yep. As they now outgrow first their cardboard castle, then to find space for a pot on the floor of the veg tent one or more of the larger plants has to be bumped into flower. When there is a space.

Overcrowding is endemic. I’m a slumlord. I spent too long in the big city.

Maybe though, see.. really there’s only a few plants. It’s just that there are clones of clones all over the shop and they can’t get out of each other’s way without bumping into themselves.

I’ve started working toward a fractal perimeter design to liberate my gardens from their Euclidean constraints. More medicine may be required to fuel the mathematical engines.

The struggle is... not real. I won’t patronise you, dear reader, by pretending any of this is a problem. It is a blessing and a boon. A bare boon. Ook.

At the recommendation of @Regrowth I bought these boards. :thanks: Reggie!

It arrived yesterday. I installed it straight away. The hangers they supplied had it too low in there so each corner got a ratchet.
The sodium sun I pulled out of the tent was just sizzling everything.

I started them on 40%. I changed the on/off times for the tent by leaving the light on all night last night, then when I set the new lights-off time today I dimmed the light to 30%. They are not so stressed any more.

Stress equals force divided by area. Trust me, I’m an engineer. Show me where it hurts.

Midweek update with prompts

How's the stable this week?

I’m glad you asked. :thanks: It’s been a bit all over the place tbh. Mostly it’s been good, though.
I had a Candida crap out on me. She crisped right up and wouldn’t drink. So she only made it to day 64. Slightly immature, but she’ll go for an infusion and be put to good use.
I just got the last of her into the fridge this morning.
I’d love to say she was sensitive to the paint fumes pervading the garage (fixed now), or that my luck ran out reusing soil, but nope. It was nothing but negligence on my part. Mea culpa many padme hums.

:meditate:

There is another candida in flower, and two of the 30:1’s for CBD.

The rest of the Stable is this way...

She is one of these...

In here...

This week I joined the air outflow from here to the air intake in the veg tent. The air intake for the veg tent has always been passive until now and this is so much better.

How's the light?

:high-five:
Changed the game. Instead of 400 fierce watts in there - and at times having to harvest a plant early to give one of these somewhere to go - I’m running at 40% of 240 and girls are chilling, happier to take their time. That said, I bumped the Gorilla Zkittlez in the black bucket (front left) in to the flower room on Monday.

I’m now running each garden light from a 7am start to either 7pm for flower, or 1am for 18/6 under the other two lights.
The flower room was coming on at 4pm. This was a leftover from a shift pattern I used to work before my rivets popped and my springs sprung. I switched the light off at 9pm the other day and on again at 7 and they all seem fine. The candida was already done.

Before now I was running the extraction fan on high to stop condensation forming on the walls of the tent. So that was growling away all the time and needed the radio on 24/7 to mask the sound. And the veggers were transpiring at a rate of knots to protect themselves from the light. Hooning through the nutes unnecessarily.
I didn’t make the rookie mistake this time going from HPS to LED and overwatering. A double thanks to @syenite not just for the snazzy in-line fan, but for getting me to look again at some of the things I was doing watering-wise especially.
Mighta took a step back for a better look at the horizon and bumped in to the back edge of the envelope accidentally. Metaphor muesli anyone? Food for thought.

Your reward for reading:

:passitleft:

No idea how long s/he has been in there I’m afraid. There are a couple of places I might have made a note. Must’ve been a month or two by now.

If seeds happen anywhere in what might be an open pollination we’ll have prime suspect number one right here. Having read that you might not see boy bits or pollen doing this I decided it was ok just to park it.

how's @DonkeyDick?

Some days are darker than others.
The sun is out now, but I still feel cold.

Thanks for asking.

Hi all. You can rest your reading glasses. It’s time for a donkey dump. Pictures may prove or disapprove of whether some parts of the week that was were weaker than others.

This is the Candida I mentioned the other day. Not such a drama, but when leaves crisp back into the flower bud like that it gets tricky. I didn’t have the time/ability to spend on a vigil so I called it.

In to bags in the fridge she went.

This was our last look across the tops with a SAGE n Sour and the C99 cross in the front.

These guys made it.

These guys? Slayed it :rip:

I let her go a week later than her first run.

And I’m this :hugs: glad I did.

We have been looking forward to this one.

She looked ready. More ambers than the C99xBlueberry(xFast, btw) a week older. Neither was from seed. Just interesting.

We’ll see.

I had to be tied to the mast with hemp ropes for a few days.

Thank god 420 fam for CBD!! :adore:

This was more fun.

And that Bubba’s Sis is the third in her final bucket before the first one is home.

Speaking of homies...

Omg the Sis is looking so good!! Must be close?
Good to have you back, Sy! It already feels slightly less shaky round here. Welcome back from real world intrusions.
:passitleft:
The BS is flowery. That should should put the axiom back in to the hub of it (do I even need to say I missed you?!)
