Db003's PPP Auto Grow In Super Soil: 2x4 Growlab Gl80l Tent, 600W MH/HPS

Girls are looking good DB! Really like that GL tent. Thinking of picking one up before my next grow. I like that it's bigger than the normal 2x4's.

I love my growlab gl80l its dimetions are 2’7″ wide x 4’11” deep x 6’7″ tall so its a little over 12 sq feet. I think its 12.7 which is way bigger then the 8sq feet in a regular 2x4 tent

I wanted to get a 4x4 but its not much bigger then the tent i have since a 4x4 is 16 sq feet

so I will stick with the tent i have for a while until i can get more space for like a 5x5 or 8x4 is my dream tent or just a room in that's case lol

and happy thanksgiving to you to my friend i am making a Dutch apple kief pie so i will be baked for sure

hello everyone this is your boy db003 just getting my stuff ready to water my plants tomorrow

my plants are about to be 2 weeks old tomorrow so I decided to make a lite batch of compost/worm castings tea for them this will be a simple lite batch I plan to add more stuff to my teas once they get a bit older

I used about a half of a cup to a cup of Malibu biodynamic compost and the same amount of worm castings for my base of my compost tea and as a food source for the compost/worm castings tea I used a teaspoon of grandma's unsulphured molasses and a teaspoon of down to earth fish powder and that's it

I will let this brew for 24 hours and water my plants with it at full strength

hello everyone its time for a update on my puff puff pass autos in super soil!

this was a update from yesterday I was at a party all day so I did not have time to post it but here it is

I gave these plants there first compost/worm castings tea today it brewed for 24 hours the water I used was plain carbon filtered tap water (filtered water not R/O water) it was ph. to 6.4 with a mix of citric acid crystals (natural ph. down) and ascorbic acid powder and sodium ascorbic powder (both are vitamin C powders) that I use as ph. down and a dechlorinator

before I watered the plants with the tea I added a sprinkle of bokashi to the tops of the pots of all the PPP autos its something new I am trying with these plants

I also noticed there is some random plant growing in one of the pots but its all good I will just let it do its thing

its day #14 from seed for all the puff puff pass autos and I will call this day #1 from sprout for the ones that just sprouted

today I gave these plants a watering with 1 table spoon of Myco-Fusion Bio Jolt 1.5 to my watering bucket it had about 3 to 4 gallons of water and let it bubble for another 20 minutes so it could mix well and spilt it between my plants

the amount was way under the recommended dose just for a little boost to the soil it was a sample pack I got many moons ago lol and what a better time to use it then now

the water I used was plain carbon filtered tap water (filtered water not R/O water) it was ph. to 6.4 with a mix of citric acid crystals (natural ph. down) and ascorbic acid powder and sodium ascorbic powder (both are vitamin C powders) that I use as ph. down and a dechlorinator

so I decided to top a few of my autos today I have never topped any of my autos before so it will be nice to see what happens the first two of them got topped nice and easy and one was more of a FIM then a topping true to the words fuck I missed lol

I chose the biggest of each one of the 3x strains and topped them so I will have one topped and one non topped auto from each strain to compare

I still need to water these plants tomorrow I find it better to do training and topping on a different day then the same day I water to keep stress down

I noticed that some of the spots were the bokashi is growing a bit of the white fuzz so it seams to be working I took a few pics as best as I could and the plants I topped last night seam to be doing fine as well but just have to wait and see but they seam really heathy so they should be fine

I also remembered to mark the plants I topped so I wont get them mixed up

I used

4oz of malted barley powder
1 tsp of aloe vera powder
1/2 of a tsp of silica powder

just gave all these girls a watering with some plain water I split about 4 gallons between them I plan on giving them a corn seed sprout tea next watering

more good news the bokashi top dressing is looking great I have a few batches of the white mold here and there its funny but I never thought I would be happy to see mold/fungus growth on top of my pots I did not think I would get any mold/fungus growth since I dont do a full mulching I just top dress but it seams to be working

one thing I dont like is that since I have been top dressing it takes forever to water my plants I kind of knew that was going to happen so it no real problem

just gave all these girls a watering with a corn seed sprout tea with aloe Vera powder and coconut water powder I split about 5 gallons between all the plants

2.oz organic corn seed that was soaked and sprouted
1/2 tsp aloe Vera powder
1/2 tsp coconut water powder

I also gave them them a lite bokashi and malted barley top dressing I am really starting to see the bokashi microbes eating the top dressed amendments its forming a nice biological bloom on all the PPP plants this will be the first top dressing for the 2x smaller plants

one of my autos is starting to show signs of it going in to flower I suspect the other wont be far behind my plan it to wait until some of the the stretch is over until I put in the HPS bulb in the reflector most of the time I put the HPS bulb in at around day 30 so this time I will give it till day 45 from sprout so the will be 9 more days from now

to this batch I added as followed.

2 tablespoons of solution grade fish powder from down to earth
2 tablespoons of insect frass
1 tablespoon of grandma's unsulphured molasses

the water I used was plain carbon filtered tap water (filtered water not R/O water) it was ph. to 6.4 with a mix of citric acid crystals (natural ph. down) and ascorbic acid powder and sodium ascorbic powder (both are vitamin C powders) that I use as ph. down and a dechlorinator and was bubbled for 24+ hours before I used it

db003 presents another update

I had to make a tough choice today my 2 smallest plants were getting swallowed up by my thick canopy and were not getting much light and seam to be growing slowly

so I had a choice of killing them and attempting to recycle the soil they were in and mix it with the super soil I intended to mix up I don't normally recycle my soil but if there small there will still be a lot of life in the soil still but instead I will still give them another shot at life

I took the 2 plants and put them in my closet after I pushed all my clothes to the back lol with one of my old mars II 700 led panels and turned on the 4 inch exhaust fan on low with a fan speed controller luckily I still had most of it still set up

I will let them go for a few weeks and see how the grow if they stay stunted them I will just pull them but I am hoping it does not come to that there is no sense in wasting electricity for a few stunted plants

for some good news since the 2 small plants were taken out of the tent my 6 large plants have more room to grow they were getting real packed so it a win win I guess now they have a little more room

I also did some lollipopping on all the plants in the tent I took some before and after picks of the lollipopping

looks like Christmas came early for db003!

I was surprised when the mailman brought me a package I was not expecting if you cant guess what it was yet... I got my Pulse nano! so I made a unboxing video and got it all set up for now since my lights were off I will play with it some more when the light comes on a bit later.

this is a device that I will be testing for pulse labs and the autoflower network its called the "pulse nano" from pulse it is a grow room environment monitor that measures temperature, humidity, vapor pressure deficit and light levels and sends them over WiFi wirelessly to all my devices using the pulse app

I already got my first screen shots of the pulse nano in action.
