Don't know why, but my pics came out not that good Both my girls are flowering, more lights will be added next friday when I get payed.

The reason why the flower so slowly is the lack of light, they don't seem stressed though, they have to hang in there a few more days!!

The other issue are the annoying gnats, will solve that asap, I hate seeing them dead on my buds!!

Best way to grow, leave them do their thing

Swear, they been so neglected, somebody needs to call plant child care! Only water, when I am not too tired to, once a small dose of food, and that's about it. Will give them some banana and molasses next time.

You've got some fit looking plants there, daTenshi. Hydra is a particularly lovely colour. Re: 'Neglect' - I guess it's the same with all plants - you give them the right basic conditions and, whether you sit with them for 2 hours a day or not, they'll just do their plant thing.

There's a good glow to your plants, man. Remember that different lighting types produce differerent nutrient needs and CFLs do not give them much energy to use them, so keep it light on the nutes and you'll be fine. Focus on quality, as it can be obtained even with cFLs.

I apologize for being slow in keeping up with everybody's journals! I am still lurking around and reading so don't worry

Now for the weekly update! Where were we I messed up the days last update, just noticed, I am tired, very sorry! We are now actually at day 59 and 39 since they sprouted, both into their 3rd week of flowering. Stretching is kinda officially over, and starting to see signs of trichs appearing. A little delay by the lack of lighting, around a week setback, no worries they will recover that in no time; doubled the lumens in there yesterday.
Fed them today 1/2 flowering food. Will start them on a feeding schedule, because they've started to drink now, require watering around twice per week.

Yeah! Can't wait to see buds, and smell them

Depending on how they come along, thinking of adding some more light to cover them better. That's why I love cfl's you can play around with them and re-position where you need.

A good thing came out of this grow so far, that I learned I can fit two plants in there with no problem. I regret not training dark devil, after the hydra incident got scared of inflicting any stress to any other babies, and she got tall, with this type of light, tall is not very good.

I can also say now that i can fit two girls in my room after doing the K-train.. I already put 2 beans in water so should be up and running by next week again
This time less training for me though, cause i got more space in height than width.

Those plants are the happiest I've seen of yours since I started following your grow!

Hahaha sometimes our plants just need some space. Since I can be an overbearing mother to mine and they don't like that, it helps me to imagine them saying, "Gawd Mom, like, just leave me alone!! I can like.. grow on my own, geez!" in a Napoleon Dynamite voice when I get the urge to over-care for them. .... that's how lonely I am lol. I talk to my plants.

Time for a unexpected photo-bomb!!!

I was unhappy with how the pictures turned out yesterday so did a small photo-shoot with the two ladies.

They are looking very happy after getting fed and plenty of light, flowering is kicking off strong now. Estimating around 2 months left. Can't wait to see them frosty!

Hey tenshi hows it going young lady? I havent been by for awhile but as soon as I seen the picture I can tell you are getting a lot better at growing. Your plants look so much better then when I would come here everyday and offer up advice. Glad to see upward growth in your learning. Thats the way to do it.

Hey Joe thanks I was just about to make an update

Plants are flowering, and it's all going good so far. Ended up just needing more light. I am planning on adding more soon, that way I won't have to worry about them. Also started them on a feeding schedule, but this will be the last grow I will be using synthetic nutrients, will go all organic next time. Already found a great product, which I can introduce some home made food as well along side it.

The weekly update of my small garden Both girls are progressing nicely, now in the 5th week of flowering, half-way so it seems to me.
Still having an issue with those gnats, solving it today somehow! I am seeing dead things on my future delicious buds.
Trichs are developing faster on Dark Devil, as in she is more frosty right now then Hydra, was to be expected since Hydra is a little slow.

Can't wait for them to start smelling, last year could smell Bushy from downstairs I keep poking my nose into them, they just beginning to give a slight odor. Good thing I have nice neighbors, that didn't mind the awesome smell of canna when entering the building, never had issues with them in any way, specially reporting each other. Oh and I have customs supervisor upstairs he the nicest one of them all.
