Darkscotia’s First Grow Room Farewell - High Brix - Florida Gold

Little picture of girls before lights go out. All will be getting another brix tonight at light on. For the past week they seem to get getting a lot more droopy. Makes me want to up pot but root system just isn’t ready yet. Will be feeding a little heavier on next transplant drench as well.

The girls look great there buddy.. prolly need more water if droopy.

They are large enough to water till run out. They will drink up the extra overnight.

They don't look root bound. They are growing very fast.

Nah don’t need more water I don’t think. I’m drenching pots like docs does. So I dunk them into a bucket full of water while I pour water down the top. Then I tilt pots this way and that over bucket till all water has dripped out. Maybe I need to turn light on full power. Or if they don’t perk back up soonish I’ll be transplanted a bit early which I don’t really want to do.
I added a link to docs site to see the way I water in veg

I always noticed plants will anticipate lights out and lights on like clockwork. Since you mentioned above that it's almost "lights out", they are preparing for bed. Check them 30 minutes before lights on and they will be ready for lights on. It's neat to observe if you haven't already.

Yup I’ve watched that before and love it. Typically it happens for me about half hour to a hour. These are like a few hours before and after light on. Doc would kill me but I’m thinking of transplanted. Checked roots yesterday and still not where I’d want them to be unfortunately. Still a good root mass but not doc approved transplant ready lol. Will get some picture up tonight after i feed them. All just got a brix spray last night as well. At this point there feeding every 3 day

You have it nailed, Scotia - I've seen the same thing in mine, time after time. For me, it's a signal to yield the battle - upcan 'em and relax. Or not. The difference will be how explosive they are when they get new soil and a flip. The longer you can put it off, the more healthy the growth will be, both in the first stretch and the early bloom, and you can ride that growth with Brix and GE, etc. The tools work better.

But I get sick of closely nursing them in small pots. They get all finicky n stuff.

:Namaste:

Yes, very much agree with Gray,..they get too finicky for me as well. Prolly the only thing i don't do that Doc likes too. I always transplant when it suits me...not the rootball. My plants take a bit longer to really get hooked up and start to move , where Doc's would be a lil quicker with that. I also like to LST mine , and wait until they go in the big pots for that.
Enjoy the day gang!:passitleft:

Thank you for that post. It hit all the brain cells. Makes so much sense said that way. Again Thanks.

Yup I just get stressed out when I notice them down to many days in a row. I’m going to try and hold off on transplanted for another week or so as I feel like daily feeding should be happening any time now. Then I’ll drench drench water, 2 times then transplant. Then I’m going to train for a bit in 15 gallon pots then bloom.
Also cut about 40 clones from girls tonight and then started to tie back branch’s. Will only trim one more tome again about a week or 2 after transplant. Had a slight casualty when bending branch’s and snapped one clear right off the top for frog sakes.
Anyhow some pics. Also they looked a lot better at lights on tonight perked right up.
