The smell is incredible. The ice cream cake really has a sweet aroma to it. The scouts honour as well.

I tried my best to keep it under 50% humidity but the climate here in July and august in southern Ontario is really really humid with wild spikes up and down. I’d say the average range was between 50 and 60% on the hot humid daysWhat was ur RH at during the grow?
I never thought I’d say this but, I I’m glad summer is almost over. It will be so much easier to control humidity in the fall and winter months. What was ur RH at during the grow?
I’m not quite done with the wet trim. Was up late last night trying to finish up but just didn’t have time. After work today I will finish the wet trim and get a weight so that I can compare it to the dry weight. I will post the info once it’s completeAwesome, and I believe u, no reason to lie to me lol enjoy ur smoke, did u get a wet weight? I’m just curious
We had a really hot and humid summer this year. It was hard to keep a handle on the levels inside the tent. Lost more then a few nights sleep worrying about it. Lol. The powdery mildew was a nightmare. Spent a lot of time the last 2 weeks just trying to keep it under control. Unfortunately there is no magic cure that I could find in my research. Will have to invent one I guess.Damn that’s what mine is running at, I have 2 cheaper dehumidifiers in there but it still stays around there, I can get it to high 40s with lights on but with lights out it goes up to almost 60
I hope you don’t run into the same problems that I did. Hopefully after some adjustments to my grow room, I will never have to deal with that nightmare again. It almost took all the fun out it trying to keep the mildew at bayDamn that’s what mine is running at, I have 2 cheaper dehumidifiers in there but it still stays around there, I can get it to high 40s with lights on but with lights out it goes up to almost 60
You should definitely chop some of the foliage. I waited too long before trimming my ladies up and I think that’s when the mildew set in. Just pick and choose carefully what leaves to cut and what leaves to keepI’m thinking about trimming off most of my fan leaves to have a lot of air flow, were u running fans in there? That’s one of my girls, I’m really hoping the humidity drops in my area soon, but I’m in North Carolina so I doubt it lol
I had good air flow with fans but all the leaves were choking the flow. As soon as I trimmed them up, the air flow was way betterI’m thinking about trimming off most of my fan leaves to have a lot of air flow, were u running fans in there? Beauties!Harvest day
First timer, getting into the hobby very enthusiastically. Haven’t been this excited about something since the first time I held a fishing rod. Looking for any tips from other growers about the ice cream cake strain. Any words of advice would be greatly appreciated
Update pics on my second grow. Learned a lot the first time around. Thanks to everyone who helped me out. Much appreciated !!
