Just make sure you let it cook or compost for couple months in warm temps.
I like to mix it up in spring and store it in large trash cans till fall. Gives it plenty of time to get broke down. The microbes make the ferts available to the root system. Then it just uptakes what's needed. Not force fed.
You can do a search for Subcools super soil on Utube. You'll find videos from Subcool mixing it with advice and instructions for the process

Here's my HPS tent day 42. I've been struggling with humidity in the 20's and temp swings from mid 40's to 80 degrees. They're chugging along ok I guess

plants looking great especially considering the temp and humidity swings.
I'd like to transition to only using DIY soil. Do you also put the super soil in the bottom of the container like in the recipe and use regular soil on the top, or is it all super soil? What base soil did you use? thanks!

I veg in #1's of fox ocean forest with recharge. Then straight to final pots filled rest of the way with my SS.
I use Roots organic original for my base with the SS recipe.
Search for Subcools recipe. Lot's of information on it.

I only feed with plain RO water. I don't worry about ph
