Dank's Adventures In Dankland

You guys have a princess auto store? Up here is like a cheap hardware store. Anyway, they have great hydroloc stuff with manual or motorized pumps. A bottle jack would work, but by building it piece by piece makes it a lot more customizable. Just my two sense.

I do tend to overstep on times, my apologies for that. Being locked up gives me too mich to think about. Lol.
Haha you're not over stepping. I appreciate all the help

Here's my press. I'm going to mount the base that normally floats. I'll mount it to the bottom to get a little more of a opening.

That's a pic I lifted online. I'll mount it like that one

I'm kinda bummed about not pressing some buds tonight. I'll be on it tomorrow tho. I have all the needed items. Hopefully I'll be dabbing by noon :bong:
That’s great. Make sure you post some picks. Have you pressed before? What would you expect to get out of it. I mean how much in vs returns?

That’s a great setup. I have a welder, plasma cutter and a steel leath. Man I could build the shit out of something like that.

Yeah... I ended up taking an inch out of the drive post.

If it had been an expensive press, I definitely would have found another work-around.

Hay Twen I am also a welder metal fab. I even got my CWI certs and taught for 8 years. I was a journeyman Sheetmetal worker and I went to Vocational school so I have lots of layout experience etc. I have certs on everything from 28gauge Sheetmetal to 4 inch plate as well as high pressure pipe. If you get a chance swing by my journal. We shoot the bull a little and talk some growing too. I am just starting another grow that for now will be included in my current journal

I’ll definitely pop by. Lots of time to shoot the shit now. Thanks for the invite.

I've never pressed before. No idea what return might be. But I'm really excited about trying it. The few times I've had dabs I loved it
your return will vary it all depends on how much is stored in the plant and doing fresh dried buds youll get more :) last time I did a batch of pressing I did some ud revege plant and ud #5 plant well when I was cleaning the bud to go into the bags the revege was all sticky af all over my hands quite sticky the #5 buds broke up with some stickiness but when we pressed each one the #5 yielded nearly twice as much so you never no I cant wait to here your reaction wish I could be rite there toking it with ya:laughtwo:

I've been watching some videos of pressing it. Was just wondering about experience. I'm thinking it'll be a good way to use seeded out plants. Just separate seeds then make hash, then rosin :cheesygrinsmiley: I'll be making more seeds down the road
I think I would just press it all skip the hash step go straight to rosin unless it easier for you to make hash :)
