So I chopped the grape pupil. While trimming the leaves I noticed some tiny nanners on some of the popcorn buds at the bottom of the plant. Also halfway mature seeds in those buds. Shit...the pupil magoo was pulled early too because it hermed out badly. I'm done with mass med strains. Maybe fems all together. Now I'm wondering if the whole tent is contaminated with herm pollen. Sucks because I have small plants ready for my breeding project in there. Needless to say I culled out the grape pupil clone in veg and I'll be doing the same thing with the small one planned for breeding that's in bloom. What a pain in the ass.

sorry bud some of the reason I go with regs mostly but they can herm to ive had both herm bit I have to admit most problem plants are fems imo!
I love it when we screw with mother nature and she screws us right back.

This past year I've grown probably at least a dozen different strains from multiple breeders. Few have hermed. All fems. Makes me wonder what method they used to induce herming to make the fems. Maybe it's just bad luck. I have plants that won't herm run after run in same tent

My opinion on the subject is this the plants that should have been genetically male but were forced to be female are more likely to herm and i think you can see by how the plant grows the shape of the leaves and so forth that hey that was going to be a male but was forced to be female.

Or seed banks are selling seeds from natural hermies and calling them feminized.Which in reality seems most plausible.
