Ok, so here is what I have going at various stages of their clone life cycle
All of these clones were taken in flower specifically to save space and have a chance to harvest the mom, dry her, cure her and determine if I want to keep it around.
This is a Jack Herer taken at day 26/27 in flower. The mom has since been harvested on flower day 70. The clones took about 10-11 days to root and then went into soil at about day 15 from cutting. SO that dates these at about 45 days in their current containers. They are just now starting to throw out new growth that isn't funky. Not sure I will keep this one....testers have been decent but not great and I am not keeping average or above average plants
Now this one is an Afghani that I took at about day 12 in flower. She rooted in about the same time frame of 10-11 days (my general norm in rapid rooters for my environment). The mom is on day 40 of flower...so you can see the big difference in growth taken earlier in flower vs just 2 weeks later. This cutting has been in this container for about 17 days.
And a side by side comparison of the two clones above...
Here is another cutting off the Jack that I rooted in a glass of water in my dark basement. Took her like 35 days to root (never changed the water and it only got limited sunlight through the basement window....and basement temps were 58-61 degrees during that time frame)
You can also see where the old bud site is dying and drying up. I pick that stuff off as it dies. If you are OCD you can cut it out, but as long as your RH is in check its not really a big deal as long as you pick it off eventually. If you had high RH, watch it as a potential spot for bad stuff to pop up.
Here is a Sour Cherries....same story on her as the top Jack picks.....taken around day 26 but she rooted in 8 days and was in soil by day 12. That puts her closer to 50 days in this container.
And a double planted Skunk.....both of them are about 45 days in the same container
And a triple comparison of them
