Hi Dankaholics

Great grow so far mate seems to be working out pretty nicely reps on that.

A Few things i would do in this grow, like taylor said i would clear up all the useless small bud sites under the screen they are good for making hash or food but not much else and will be wasting a lot of the plants energy, just make sure you take it off in bunches you dont want to shock them by taking it all off at once ,

And the other thing was the same as mcloadie said watch that black Jack it looks tho it might herm looks like the calyx's are swollen which might mean its producing seed i could be very wrong but just looks like it in the picture.

Apart from that you and your girl are doing some nice work!!

We have been keeping an eye on her. She has always been the smallest plant and just seems underdeveloped. The two Blue Mystics looked similar last week but have finally started filling out a bit. Hopefully the BlackJack will do the same.

Every other night for the last week we have been taking a little undergrowth from each plant. It will take awhile to get it all cleared up but like you said we don't want to stress them out.

Flower Day 36
Week 6

Today starts week 6 of flower.

Everything is looking good except for the BlackJack which is still hardly developing. A few longer hairs developed overnight, but I'm not getting my hopes up yet.

We have slowly been removing some growth from under the canopy, but probably won't end up removing it all before harvest.

Heat wave this weekend sucked. Temps hovered between 84-86 all weekend.

I think taking the leaves from under the canopy is better to all at once around three weeks. I like to take leaves daily from the top that are blocking bud sites. This is just me but have you seen any signs of male parts on the blackjack. I wouls remove the sick blackjack and giive the others room to fill out.

Week 8

Woot Woot. Week 8 is here and I think Deadhead OG is almost ready. Probably another week. I am seeing many more amber trichs and there are still new pistols developing but they are really starting to slow down.

The Blue Mystic girls are looking amazing as well. Tons of trichs and the back Blue Mystic has a shit ton of hairs.

BlackJack on the other hand still looks pretty crappy.

Flower Day 54 and 55
Week 8


I think we are getting close and we will harvest Deadhead OG next Friday. That will put her at day 61. She barely has any new pistils coming out but her leaves are yellowing and drying up fast and she doesn't seem to be swelling anymore.

Blue Mystics are developing REAL fast right now. Hairs are changing quickly and most of the trichs are cloudy. Still though hopefully another two weeks for them. Their smell is still mild but the trichs are covering them and they are swelling more and more every day. No more nutes for them.

The BlackJack does seem to be swelling but there are hardly any hairs or trichs.

Next round is looking to be three plants. Our HUGE Pineapple Express girl (her trunk is 1" thick), another Blue Mystic from seed that has been vegging for a few months but had some early issues so shes not huge, and the third is a clone from our Deadhead OG that is about to get transplanted into a 5 gallon smart pot next week.

Flower Day 59
Week 9

Friday our supplies should be arriving so we can transplant our Pineapple Express, Deadhead OG and Blue Mystic into their final 5 gallon smart pots and then can use the new pruners to harvest Deadhead Friday night.

She had one last water with molasses this morning before the lights went off, giving her a small flush. 4 gallons of water instead of her normal 2. Her leaves are yellowing nicely and looks like almost all of her nutes are used up.

Question for everyone. Since we are harvesting one on Friday, and our plan is to cut, trim then hang her in the same room as the tents to dry, what kind of string / wire does everyone recommend for hanging the plants?

Blue Mystics are really looking good as well and are packing on weight. The front one looks like it will be done a little before the rear one but that's ok. Their smell is still very mild but they sure are sticky and the leaves are quickly turning yellow as well.

BlackJack just isn't worth shooting.

Flower Day 61
Deadhead OG Harvest

Alright we harvested Deadhead OG Friday night and wow that was a lot of work. It took about 2.5 hours for both of us to trim and hang her.

The photos are not nearly as good as I was hoping but the light was really bad in the room.

Here are a few shots of the canopy before we cut the screen out.

Here are a few bud shots from yesterday morning. She had been drying then for 36 hours.

Week 10

Alright today starts week 10.

Blue Mystics are looking amazing and even the BlackJack looks like it might just be smokeable, it just might be a very slow and strange looking plant. Regardless its genetics are gone after the harvest.

Our Deadhead OG harvest has been hanging for 2.5 days now and tonight when the lights go on in the tent we will probably switch to the paper bag method of inside a paper grocery bag laying a few handfuls of shredded grocery bags into a layer and then putting a layer of buds down, then another layer of shredded paper, etc.. and do this for another 2-3 days before putting them into mason jars.

Does anyone feel that they have a better method? They already feel a little crispy on the outside.

Alright we weighed and jarred the Deadhead OG after 4 days of drying.

Ended up pulling 95 grams / almost 3.5 oz and the Blue Mystic girls look to be bigger yielding.

1st GROW HARVEST RESULTS

OK everyone. We weighed and jarred the last two plants.

95g / 3.4oz Deadhead OG

62g / 2.2oz Blue Mystic

50g / 1.8oz Blue Mystic

20g / 0.7oz BlackJack

227g / 8.1oz Total Harvest

Not bad but the next round we started will be much better. We had way too many popcorn buds and that BlackJack really set us back. I actually think we might just use those 20g and make BlackJack Butter.

We also made bubble hash

1.0g from 25 microns

2.2g from 73 microns

0.1g from 120 microns

0.2g from 160 microns

3.5g total production
