Dale's Indoor Hempy - 400w COB - 6 Strain Attempt - 2017

Pics while watering today. From left to right: A freshly sprouted Blueberry (going 12/12 from seed), Blue Mystic day 54 flower (with her small pot size and the low humidity, I think she gets too dry between feeds), Papaya day 54 flower (still throwing new pistils), Blueberry day 47 flower (girthing up, by my standards), and CBD Indica Fem (been in flower tent a few days, mistreating her with a topping and some lst.

The Auto Med GOM, who is preggers from Cackleberry and/or herming. Hope the root rot doesn't do her in. She's greener than she was yesterday!

Lots of love and good vibes - my weekend starts tonight! ...

Then happy weekend my friend. Wee little babies for second chances. Exciting!

Bud rot is spreadable through airborne particles DB. You should be isolating that plant away from your grow my friend.

Keep away from your new growth, washing your hands after you've handled it.

May not be even smokable if plant is over 50% infected. I hope you've caught it in time.

There are some good threads on this if you search it. My experience with mold is limited.

..

Hope everyone is enjoying their weekend!

My sweety and I are busy today harvesting Blue Mystic (63 days of flower (this one is Mom's meds!)), and Blueberry (56 days of flower, want as much of an up high as possible).

Too busy for pics of either, but here's one of Papaya's top cola

And a snap of the last of our Jamaican Dream, blasted through it last night with great friends! It has a peppery flavor that I'm going to miss, and the euphoric high is positive and chatty.

Auto Med GOM, who suffered through and survived root rot and being relegated to the garage. Can't believe she didn't just kick the bucket after all that h2o2... She's still a cutie!

I think that'll do it for this journal! Thanks to all you beautiful humans who bumped through to offer advice and positive vibes .❤️ I love you kids!

Wishing you many happy returns of the day!

Dale Grib... I mean, Rusty Shackleford

Peace

Hope all is well in your world.

Thanks for sharing this grow with us. :goodjob:

Please head over to the 420 Strain Reviews forum and post your smoke report there too.

I’m moving this to Completed Journals now.

Have you started a new grow you would like to share with us?

If so, please feel free to start a new journal here: Journals in Progress

Sending you lots of love and positive energy.

:Namaste:

Thank you Dale, for sharing the grow with us, and congrats on the multiple harvests. I hope you start another at some point.

One of my best Carnivals, as far as potency, was one I culled twice, but could never bring myself to completely kill. She ended up with mites too, she was so stressed. Some of the best cannibus I'd smoked up until Hash Hound's Chem Dawg. They are amazingly resilient plants.

Hi Dale, Im a new grower but Im a student of chemistry as well. I was reading your journal and have spotted a problem and was unsure if you had identified it as well. Your water is very harsh for your plants, your ppm is very high and so is your pH. I know your adjusting your pH so thats cool but your starting ppm, alot of which is Ca, is causing a mag lockout. I would like to suggest to you that you either dilute your H2O with store bought distilled water, buy a distiller or RO.

I have the same issue as you but not as bad 500ppm and pH of 8. I use a gravity filter on my tap water cost about $15 just put it on the shower head and that gets rid of the larger molecules and sediment then dilute the tap 50/50 with distilled water from the store my starting ppm went from 500 to 150. Then I suppliment the H2O with normal FF nutes plus MgSO4 to balance out the Ca that is already in the water. The yellowing on your leaves is definately Mg deficiency caused by lockout.

Im pretty new to all this so please take my words with a grain
Much love brother hope to see another journal soon.

Honored you stopped in, dom! Sorry for the much delayed response.

A tabletop distiller has cured those water woes, now I'm watching for deficiency instead of lock. I dropped some pics in the Hempy Headquarters thread today. Proof!

Happy New Year and Happy Growing.
