Curso's True High Brix!

I make smoothies from veg clippings and oil from the bloom trim :)

Great you make smoothies with the clippings. I too use the veg clippings and most of the time I put it through the wheatgrass juicer and it is very invigorating feeling on a cellular level. almost like your body gets tingly and electrically charged or something.

I've never tried a smoothie with clippings. BID sent me an article about it too I just haven't had any veg trim to try it. Today is the day I'll have some. Thanks for reminding me bro +reps :high-five:

:thanks:

That is exactly it :thumb: I think it's to do with the fact that the cannabinoids reduce inflammation in the body...

Juicing or smoothie-making is the perfect way to get the cannabinoids in their acidic form into the body.

I make smoothies rather than juice, because I felt that juicing was not extracting enough.

Freezing the fresh, washed leaves and growing tips bursts the cell walls,

hitting the frozen bag with a schnitzel-hammer makes the leaves crumble into bits

and separate from the stems and leaf-veins. Makes it easier to smoothie :)

It must be a wheatgrass juicer to extract the juice better if your using a centrifugal juicer it is good to hop the leaves with something solid like carrot or apple. I am pretty keen on juicing since it is something me and my wife have done for 5 years.

Thanks for that post rico I have some reading to do now on this. you stimulated it and I cant stop it hope my daughter can sleep for another hour or two. lol.

Sending lullaby vibes your way, Shotta :)
Good info on the juicer and adding carrot or apple (I forgot to add that bit) :thumb:

Man I hope the little sample pack of ice wax I sent you makes it bro, its going to change your mind about BHO I guarantee it:)

Man I hope so too...lol :) I'm looking forward to it if it does :high-five: I kinda enjoy the process of making BHO (funny BHO are the presidents initials..lol). We're going to give it a go either way, probably will be one of the many christmas presents to myself ;)

Hi Curso,

I see I am very late to the party. Sara sent me your way. :-)

And I see I'm in some very good company here - shout out to shottafire, jon and BID.

My lights should arrive here in the next 7 days or so. I bought two of the Mars ll 240x5w lights just like you have. Plus, I bought a four-part cob light for my veg tent. Can't wait to get them and put them to use.

I have a couple of questions, if you wouldn't mind.

From what I have read, it looks like you are growing in a 4 x 4 tent, and you are using 7 gallon pots. If I'm seeing your pictures right, it looks like you have five plants in your tent. Is that right?

Do you feel like your light from Sara covers a 4 x 4 area effectively?

If you were growing in the middle of a room, outside of a tent, would you feel like one Mars ll 240x5w light would cover a 4 x 4 foot area as well?

Did I read this right? You vegged your plants for 10 weeks then switched to 7 gallon pots and produced 22 ounces from a 4 x 4 tent? All from just five plants? If I read right, that is some serious results.

Did you top your plants in veg - or do any kind of lst to limit their height while growing? Just curious because with 7 gallon buckets it would seem like you would be producing some monster plants in there.

It will be exciting to see how you will do going from start to finish with your LED lights. I will bet that your quality will be out of this world.

Looking forward to hanging out.

Do you feel like your light from Sara covers a 4 x 4 area effectively? Very much so yes.

If you were growing in the middle of a room, outside of a tent, would you feel like one Mars ll 240x5w light would cover a 4 x 4 foot area as well? Roughly its hard for me to have an honest opinion on that to be honest.

If I read right, that is some serious results. Yep I vegged under 200w mh then hit them for like 7 weeks with a 600w hps then finished them with the 240x5w. It impressed me with the way it finished my plants.

Did you top your plants in veg - or do any kind of lst to limit their height while growing? Just curious because with 7 gallon buckets it would seem like you would be producing some monster plants in there. Nope I just let them rip in there, no topping this round, I want to see what the light can do for me. I am treating this like the last round with less veg.

It will be exciting to see how you will do going from start to finish with your LED lights. I will bet that your quality will be out of this world.
Thanks my veg light should be here Tuesday and my new gear should be here around then too :high-five:

Looking forward to hanging out.

Have a bowl and chill bro, shit's about to start getting real here in the next couple weeks.

Sry for the crazy answer but it was easy and I'm a lazy, baseball watching stoner with a big jar of wax...lol

Not at all. Thanks for your answers.

And that wax looks out of this world.

Do you make that only with the scrap or are you actually putting good buds in there too? It would kind of make me feel a little sad to put super good buds in the bags to make it with. Though getting some wax like that might be worth it. I want my bud and wax too. :-)

That run was mostly bud from a Chem Vally Kush we had rolling in Hydro. It wasn't a very happy plant and became BHO. We pulled 12g of wax from 75g of bud :high-five: Making wax is like many things in life, you always get out what you put in. The better the material the better your yield will be. It's a great way to still get something off of a plant you otherwise would have to smoke.

Gotcha - alright then, I just need to increase my yield so I have plenty to make wax with, oil and smoke. :thumb:
