Curso's True High Brix!

you use docs kit i use cursos kit and were a happy family!, yup ken did a good job on the purps, i like my biggest girl so much i put her in the contest despite her bein only 5 weeks in flower, and ill just re enter her next month if need be:thumb:, im finally gonna get my taste of gdp in high brix no less for the first time,hmm wonder if that will make me a gdp snob? lol i felt a similar pride & did a similar thing with my blue dream this month, i love my plants all winners to me!:high-five:

If Doc never decided to come out with a kit, I would still use the Natures Own system, its good stuff, it's a distant 2nd to the kit though. I am really impressed with Doc's post of his latest test. It's really cool what this stuff can do.

I think you will be a GDP snob, it really raises the quality to a whole new level. I'm looking forward to your Chemdawg too. That BD looks fantastic.
 
yeah im really starting to know her (bl drm) like i was with tt & the first chemdog, i MISS CHEM that gassy pinesol funk makes me drool idk why i ended up letting it go i didnt fem any just some crosses, im hoping the chemdawg is as good as the one from greenhouse, i think the heat has screwed up all my clones of mendo,ogk & sour d, so im gonna have to do some flowering clones or leave them with a few branches to hopefully get some nanners/fem/self seeds, i hatelosing strains, unless they plain suck,, i prefer to get some fem seeds so i have seed clones, like i did with the blue cheese & blue mystic,& a few others, the exodus cheese#1 is looking great and ready to flower but its not sexed so if i get a male i will be tickled pink! its a gorgeous plant & i have all kalimans cheese straing i got a 10pk of the ec1 and the mix pack with all his cheese variants, 16 seeds in that pk so guess whose making cheese crosses soon? *points thumbs at self* THIS GUY! and if its a girl gdp pollen and rpk maybe even some auto pollen, i have crossed gdp with cheese candy ,ok nuff chatter time to eat and watch iron doode 3
 
I feel ya on losing strains BID, I almost hated myself for flowering my Sour Diesel #2 mom. I have 12 really nice clones of her though :) I think you'll be happy with that Chemdawg bro. The other 2 strains I have grown from them are both pretty nice. Pineapple Skunk is as stinky as it sounds, Pineapple finished with some roadkill skunk, getting fat and frosty too.

I cleaned up the 2 longer vegged GSC a bit ago, I smashed the shit out of a couple leaves and got 14 and 15 brix. I am super happy with the shape these plants took (love it when a plan comes together) they're almost perfect in every way. They both got their 2nd drink of cationic too.

The Sour Diesel mom is going to be a beast of a plant. She's already getting fat and frosty, it really liked the drench. She got switched with energy the other day, hence why she is getting fat, transplant is next for her.

This toxic blue 33 is really finishing up fast. Honestly they weren't all too far off with 7-8 weeks. Just by the way this one grew, it'll be around for a little while. It smells more blueberry than the blueberry gum did, finished with Jack Herer. It's a nice plant. I can't wait to smoke it.
 
i have not lost to many strains but a couple that really upset me are the purple#1 (one of the best highs ive ever felt and purple w/o cold) and purple maroc super pretty and frosty & the best migraine med spiffy has ever found, i have crosses but no guarantee they will be the same, im tripping bout my tt's right now my stock is low and i just had 4 duds & 2 lings die, all my fault i think, but still i would freak if i lost my flagship strain! next time im gonna be very carefull and baby them and they wil be grown for a massive seed run i wanna get a few oz of seed for her. i would never forgive myself, i have about 25 beans left for all 3 combined! well i have a few hondred that i crossed with an auto, so those might come in handy if theres anymore problems, an auto tt would rock no more 12- 20 week flowertime lol the pineapple skunk sounds kinda nasty lol
 
Well, everything is going to need a drink today, they probably could have used it yesterday but I got stoned and pretty lazy, so its today. The flower tent is doing fantastic, no complaints there at all. I forget if I had mentioned that everything got thinned out the last couple of days, I can actually see the floor in the tent now.

I haven't really pulled anything out of the veg tent in the last few days. I have been just letting them go dry before they get watered. Last I looked they were doing very well. I'll take some pic's while they are out. They will get thrown into the tub for a real good soaking and then back to dry out. I am sure they'll need cleaned up and topped too. Man I'm kinda regretting being lazy yesterday, I forget that my grow has grown to double +(in size) what it was, so one lazy day makes for a long day to follow. Oh, well..its a rainy day anyways it'll be good to be in the light.

Everything is looking beautiful as usual bro:bravo: what style did you grow with before High brix? Im interested in trying it someday but im wondering how the yield is compared to say super soil or hydro. Subcool is averaging 8-12 oz per 5.5" to 6" plant with his recipe. Im a comercial grower so yield is important for me. Maybe I ll try out a small batch for my personal headstash and see for myself:)
 
Thanks bro, I did dwc before adventuring into soil. I can't really give you a fair judgement on the yields yet, as my area keeps changing. However, this grow I have going now should be an excellent yield, 1lb+ of high quality high brix meds. The strains I have grown in soil I haven't grown in any other method (the ak clones died). My buddy grows the sour diesel with 1k watts/rdwc and our yield's have been close with that strain, mine being a little more (he was having issues). I have a couple commercial strains going now, they were 12/12 seeds to check the smoke out, I have cuts of them vegging.

I have no complaints this time around, the couple errors were just dumb ass mistakes on my part. I'll let ya know on the yield vs dwc My buddy has a full tray of Sour Diesel going now and a couple gsc and a cvk in the next round. So far I have no complaints with the yields, the quality is so high, I can smoke a joint like 4 times and I'm a heavy smoker. Most of the time I cant get it lit the 4th time, its to gooey at the end. We are going to send out the Sour Diesel for testing (both hydro and hb) I'll have a better assessment after this harvest. Doc informed me that he harvested a couple Jack Herer's not all to long ago that were 5oz each so a great yield + super high quality very possible :) I don't have enough information about them to tell you anything Jon other than, he has it pretty figured out. I'm sure if you ask he'd be happy to inform ya. Shotta has a kit cooking too, he'll have a good answer in a couple months (hb vs ss).

I didn't bother taking Pics yesterday, tomorrow is my pic update day, so I'll stick with the usual. I did however rotate everything in the flower tent this fine day. Man...the toxic blue 33 is finishing fast it looks as if she might be ready next week sometime. I think the GSC's that are finishing are going to go 9 weeks. All but 2 plants in veg are really nice. Its kinda funny though, I had like 2qt of soil left and had a Pineapple Skunk that needed transplanted, so she went into the 2qt, and I wouldn't have guess it,but it is the best plant in the tent. There are a couple GSC that will get culled the next time I pull the plants out, they're giving me 1 leaf nodes, just those 2 plants, and they're in different spots in the tent. I thought it might be a light leak, nope, just shitty plants. I'll replace them with some sour diesel clones I have rooted.
 
Man Curso. You do pretty damn well in those small pots. I can't wait to see some pics of the toxic blue, and I was thinking to myself yesterday that the GSC should be done pretty soon. That'll be interesting to hear a smoke report. Especially since you have the infamous "thin mint pheno".

Thanks bro, those small pots are coming to an end here. GSC's the calendar says 60 next weekend(pineapple skunk and toxic blue33 too) so 2ish weeks on the single cola one. I did save the 2 little branches that were left from the plant that got mangled by the filter. It'll get pulled next weekend regardless I'm sick of looking and wondering how good it's going to be, she is a tester :)

The CVK is shaping up pretty nice too, although I doubt I'll be able to get the color I had on the last one, this time around. It's not cold enough anymore :(

Wow. I've got to step up my game....or maybe start following directions again. You and Steppenwolf are raising the bar big time. Gorgeous plants....I know what the final product is going to be like.....and I'm jealous.
