Cultivating In My Arboretum

I think my plants are just going to have to toughen up with the RH. I put the towel in the tent for the last two days along with a pan of water on the radiator heater and the most I have been able to get it up to is 30%. I just cant seem to conquer the RH. I am relatively happy with my temp. Last year It was a battle, my temps at night were dropping down in the 40's. And my plants were not growing at all. Of corse, we have not hit -30 F yet. But for now I will take what I can get. So, I will put a humidifier on my wish list. The little kiddy one I have does a cool mist and I have not taken the time to really think about how to use it in the tent.

I am thinking about topping three of my plant truth band, sour diesel, and the strawberry cough. I have some small fish like netting that could be zip-tied to my little stand so, I can get my scrog started.

Hi lady Vadalon a cool mist humidifier will drop the temps in your room in the beginning of my grow my humidity never got above 30% and my plants are doing ok it's not optimum but the plants will grow ok IMHO.

I was thinking if the temp is 80f and add the cool mist it might drop the temp to 75 F or 72F and up the RH. Yesterday it was down to 20%. I know that cannabis can grow just about any place and the low RH is not huge factor like low temps. Thing will change again when I get my veg room finished and drop the tent.

It will be nice to get my rooms finished and have some privet space for myself.

Well, it was -5f last night. Arboretum held at 62f and the tent 74f. My RH held at 30 percent.

It looks like you are doing everything right. Keep it up. In my experience low RH is a good thing. Keeps the pests away

Lower RH isn't so bad, nor is lower temps, during the latter stages of flowering. They may drink alot with lower RH. Good job on treating for insects!

Lady V what size exhaust fan do you have I found if you lower the speed of the fan you can raise the humidity easier just a thought.

Yes, Lady V, she looks healthy enough. New growth most always comes in a lighter shade of green. So, you are doing a great job!

82 degrees arboretum
87 degrees tent.

I will get photos up after my light comes on. Tent temperatures are high. At this point I'm not going to worry to much about the RH.

Good morning! Was browsing through and came across your journal. I like your set up and am very interested in your RV overhaul. I'm in the process of finishing a new grow room myself but one on wheels? Now that's fancy!

Small update: It was -1 degrees this morning
Arboretum was 78 degrees
Tent 74 degrees
Soil temp is 72 degrees

I have moved my nuts up to 2 ml- cam/mag teaspoon and silica 1ml to a gallon of water

I have been really sick for the last week. The girls were bone dry this morning. To 1 gal of water I did 3 ml of food and 2 ml of cal/mag. The color was yellow with a hint of red.

Bugger me I'm going back to bed.
