This is what I found this morning. The tallest had fallen over by yhe weight if the seed shell. I gently removed it. You can see it there. I think I am going to leave the flourescent light on today. After work-from-home today I will finish setting up the tent and get things going.

The two GS haven't dropped their seed shells. I just let that happen? No assisting?
They've been in the dark so far...doesn't seem to have been a problem, unless the seed shell thing is a big problem.
These girls are looking for light , stretching to what ever light they can get . Are you using a cfl or led for the seedlings light ?
I asked Teddy Edwards to delete your first journal for you . I figured that’s what you wanted .

First off, vlear this up for me...I took the advice of someone who told me to keep them in the dark, and that I won't need to put them in the tent until I see a second set of leaves on them. Is this bad advice.
They have been in the dark under a hood and on top of a heating pad. The tent needs to be completed and I was hoping these could hold off on needing to be in there until the weekend. But I will get on it if necessary. I have them under a flourescent light right now. Took the hood off. It seemed like they were getting close to it. Is that all ok to do?

I wouldn’t know how to explain that it needs light once they pop the soil . The fluorescent is perfect! I run mine for 24/7 for two weeks. You should be okay for a few weeks outside the tent.

Keep bringing the light down so they don’t stretch too much . 12”
Well, I put them under the hood to maintain temp and humidity. I stuck a support for one GS cuz its leaves were turned away from the light.

Any advice on how to generate traffic?

Keep coming down with the fluorescent light . Closer the light shorter it will stay I let mine grow right up to the light . Nice thinking with the strap. I use different color bread ties to Id different strains.

I finally have my tent setup, testing the AC infinity exhaust system. I have a small heater in the corner. I have set a temp on that and some parameters on the fan unit, lets see how this goes.

So here I am. I have a heater that isnt automatic, I have to turn it on now and again. Temps are good, 77 during "daytime," mid 60's nightime(18/6).
But the fan sensor says 57%RH, but the humidty sensor says 34%. I have a humidifier, do I need to get it rocking?

So I put on the humidifier, but its not on a timer. I have on the ** setting, not the * setting.
Turn it on, leave and go do yardwork for an hour, return to 87% RH....oy....so I turned it off, will check again when lights go back on the afternoon.

Thanks for all the help.

I am trying to manage humidity. I have a humidifier on a timer, working on settings to determine the best cycle and duration to maintain those parameters. I just started, but I find that if I just leave the humdifier on RH gets too high. I have an Infinity Fan, I need to check the high humidty setting. I have a sensor on the fan and another small one and they don't read the same. The fan's sensor never drops lower than 50, but the other one levels out at 34-36. I'm learning.

Sorry for the late reply I get low humidity twice a year but it doesn’t seem to bother the girls. It’s been high humidity till I got the dehumidifier in . I won’t even start a humidifier grows crazy things !

I am not sure I follow. W/o the humidifier the RH is around 35%
So here I am today, mid week 2 of veg, I guess
I have said, I have a heater but no manual, so I am not exectly sure how it works(setting thermostat correctly, timer, etc.) I have an Infinity fan and a temp/humdifier monitor. See pics.
The two dont read the same temp or humidity. Thoughts?

How do the plants look?
