CS21 First Grow Ever!

With Photo plants I like to Lollipop them a few days before I flip to flower. I defol, and let them bounce back, then flip.
Cool man appreciate the advice. I'm thinking I got another week or 2 max before I flip so just wondering if I should do it in 2 sessions or just one major one before flipping.

So I have started to see a little bit of brown spotting on just 1 of my plants, a few on the first set of true leaves and just a couple on the next set...
I have done a very thorough search for any bugs or anything and see nothing... from what I have looked at I'm wondering if its magnesium deficiency?? Let me know what you guys thinks please!! It's one 9f the GG#4... the Blue dream and White widow dont seem to be showing any signs yet. For what it's worth the plant that is showing is probably the biggest, fastest developer so far (possibly more hungry).

In my experience, I wouldn’t worry about any minor spots. Every plants is different even from the same strain. And long as it doesn’t grow slower there shouldn’t be any major issues. Sometimes you just need to give the plants some time to resolve problems on their own (exept if their is a known problem that you can fix. Then you should act right away).
When you grow from seeds and the seedlings start coming out of the earth sometimes the shell (or a part of the shell) of the seed stays stuck to the first leaves. This doesn’t allows the leaves affected to grow correctly but it shouldn’t be a big problem. After a couple of days to a week, the plant should have resolved the problem on its own.
Keep up the good work and don’t get discouraged !!

Oh and I totally forgot... this has also happened.
I put 9 seeds down Sunday and these are the results. 9 lively babies.
3- OG Kush
3- Green Crack
3-Blue Hash- never tried before!!
Used RO water with 100ppm Calmag, Mykos and Rhizo when soaking the pellets and they were all up within 72 hours. Had to pull 2 shells but all is good.
I have my Viparspectra 600 on them at 28" on only Veg right now. (180 true watts roughly). Will get it closer daily till it's around 22". Pellets are still moist so haven't watered again yet.
As always I will keep you posted.
Tent 3×3×5.5'
Temp. 23-24° Hum. 60%

Hahah thanks man, that was some time ago now... if you check my recent posts you will see they are doing well and are very happy.
Tag along if you like though and enjoy the ride.
Should get interesting.

Just a couple lazy pics just after lights came on.
Vegging girls a doing well, they are taking up more space every day. Nice color and looking healthy as ever.
And the seedlings are also coming along nicely. Just waiting to see the taps come out the bottom to transplant into solo cups in coco. 2nd full day above ground for them.
Temps and Humidity levels are bang on
Things are moving along nicely.
Happy Friday night!!

Sup guys and gals.. been slacking on posting lately...
Couple things going on in the garden, transplanted the big girls into some 7G pots because I was having to water twice a day already. The roots were totally filling the pot... they are absolutely loving the new home, and they seem to be thriving I their enviroment and I plan on flipping them on day 69 of veg which will be March 1. It's starting to look like a nice little jungle in there, and they are starting to stack up nicely
On the other hand I had a massive scare using the jiffy pucks with my babies, after not seeing any tap roots after a couple days I realized when initially wetting them I squeezed the water out of them so they were not soaked and it made it so the root would not penetrate the dirt and stopped growth so I took them out of the pucks and placed them in a solo cup of coco and after a couple days they all came back to life and are rooting nicely (thank god!!) I won't make that mistake again.
So it did slow them down on where they should be at but as long as they can recover I dont care about that.
Happy Growing!!

A little bit of canopy action here from this morning. Things are rolling along nicely.
Will be flipping after 9 days in new pots so the roots have a chance to fill them up a bit. March 1st will be the day!! Will be interesting to see the difference in the plants as well because 3 are going to be grown under LED and 3 will be under HPS. A little comparison.
Cheers!!

That's awesome... I actually had a huge issue with my 2nd grow and had to abort the babies I had going... on the surface they looked great but when I transplanted I noticed that the tap root never recovered from the Jiffy incident properly and was extremely weak so I did not want to go through with a unsuccessful grow.
Now I have 1 Gorilla Zkittles, 1 Blue Gelato 41, 1 Blueberry OG all from Barnys Farm. That will be my next journal likely

Day 9 of 12/12.
150ppm CalMag
600ppm Base Nutes
Cannaboost and Sensizym.
Total 750ppm/1.5EC
Things are rolling along nicely.
I have actually switched my nutes and am now running GH Flora Series on these babies as I ran out of Canna.
Also noticing that I will have to start watering twice a day now as well.

As far as the comparison between the HPS and the LED is that the LED seem to be maturing faster and tend to look overall perkier... not that the HPS girls look bad... just my observations so far.
Can definately see pistles forming and they are stretching nicely. Lights are around 18" from canopy.
Thanks for stopping bye :bong:
