CS21 First Grow Ever!

I would suggest just keep going. I doubt it's a bug issue. If you think it will help, add another ML to your cal-mag per gallon ratio. Nutrients aren't all that necessary the first 14 days from seed. Roots need to be established enough to search for food. Wilting and dying is bad, spots here and there on one leaf out of 4, not much to worry about. Stay lifted!

Here is a few pics of some of the others looking pretty healthy as far as I can tell

Thanks Wally... that's my thoughts... I didnt change anything today and will wait to see what tomorrow looks like.
Just trying to figure it out if it's a problem!!

Good Morning ladies and gentlemen... just to give a little update... things overall are looking pretty good I think.
The brown spotting I noticed seems to have stopped... it ended up showing up on the first set of true leaves on 2 of the girls... on one it had some random dots and the tips, the one was on the tips only, kind of weird. I did get my meter to measure ppm and stuff now too so could have just been a nute problem. Been making sure PH has stayed within 5.8-6.1 (coco grow)
Only thing I did notice was as you see in one of the pictures are the weird direction the leaves are pointing??? I'm not too sure on that one (4th pic)

They all look normal to me, it’s normal to see some wonky looking leaves but they usually grow out of it.
Thanks Penny... I've just been keeping a close eye on them... I think for the most part things are good!!
Its exciting I can see the nodes forming now, they seem to be growing well!!

This is it guys and gals!! I have ventured into the world of indoor growing of the most beautiful plant known to man!! (And Women)
And I hope you come along for the ride with me.
Your expertise is wanted!!
So this is my setup that I am running; I have a 3×3×6 tent I will be using for veg stage (next grow)
And my flower tent will be my 8×4×7 tent. (Which I am using for the whole grow this time around)
The medium I am going with is Coco coir with perlite and the strains will be;
3 Gorilla Glue #4
3 White Widow
3 Blue Dream
As of right now I am on day 9 since I started germination which was in jiffy pellets and today potted them in my double buffered coco in solo cups.
Really hoping they take well to it!!
I will post pics of setup and early days of grow for everyone.
I plan on using 2 viparspectras for veg and will have made a decision about lighting for flowering when the time comes closer. (I am leaning to HPS)
Hopefully it's a successful journey!!

Your tent is so organized!! I love it! :goodjob:

Little update... girls seem to be growing well.
Am now at 350ppm for feedings and have seemed to gotten the watering down as well...
Going to transplant in the next couple days for sure
Couple pics.
1st pic is the GG#4
2nd pic is the Blue Dream
3rd pic is the White Widow
Not sure whether I want to use 3G or 7G pots... would 9 plants in 3G pots fill a 8×4 tent? Or should I use 7G?

I'm getting ready to harvest my white widow in two weeks or so if you wanted to take a peek at what your buds might look like.

If in soil maybe 7, coco can grow with less root space 3g! However the mere subject of up potting comes into play. I am often impressed by how much plant can be achieved in 3 gallons. My current girl in flower was up potted yo 5g from 3g Reveg.

Yes I think the 3G fabric pots will be the way I will go this time and adjust if need be for the next time around.

3g will be fine with that many plants. Everything is looking good so far
Thanks Penny. I am starting to see lots of roots poking through the bottom of the cup, so I think I will put them in their pots today or tomorrow.
And just so I am clear... to charge my coco i just let it sit in feeding water with calmag for a few hours... after I rinse it and strain it of course...

Garden looks great buddy!
:bravo:
Looks like you've got it on track for a successful grow. I'll hang around to watch it unfold if ya don't mind...
:passitleft:
Thanks Preston... it is a great learning experience for sure and I am having a good time as well!!
I sure hope the rest goes smooth as well but with everyone's help around here I'm sure it will work out just fine.
Everyone around here is so helpful, I am very grateful to be here!!

Quick question... just want to know if this will suffice for prepping my coco...
I expanded and washed brick with boiling water and then rinsed and strained with tap water then I mixed a feeding at 400ppm and am currently soaking the coco in it now...
My question is how long should it sit in the feed and also should it be done twice or is once good enough??
