When it comes time to flowering I have 4-40w 2700k cfl's to replace the 4-23w 2700k bulbs in use now but I also have a 100w hps. I am wondering if I should replace my 125w 6500k with the hps for flowering that would give me a higher flowering spectrum. Right now it's about a 2/1 ratio 6500k/2700k for veg as per bontastics recommendation.
When ponytailing your plant you could do it for 6-8 hours in a 18/6 schedule. I usually do it for my time at work and then retrain her after, it's about 6 hours every couple days. It definitely shows in secondary growthIt is kind of hard to tell from this pic but I tied up the upper foliage to get better light penetration to new growth inside, how long should I keep her wrapped up like this. It seems like she's just growing taller without the stretch to the main stalk. The bottom of the canopy just seems to be staying where it is
