I've always had problems from overwatering. This is the first grow where I haven't had a gnat problem and I hope to keep it that way! Have missed out feeding during important stages of flowering trying to starve gnats and feel that it influenced the yield in a bad way.
I'm feeding roughly every 34-36 hours (no method to it, just happen to be awake when they could go too dry). I'm using biobizz starter soil, it does tend to dry out quickly but only the top layer. I thought this might be a problem earlier on in the grow as an inch and a half or so underneath was moist. Checked the run off and it was all good, have quite a few fans going so think that's why topsoil goes dryer than underneath.
They're 5 weeks today. I foliar fed for the first three then started syringe feeding each plant 20mls of PHd water mixed with Canna Rhizotonic Root Stimulant. I then made my bottle sprayer after getting a bad back/knees syringe feeding and went up to 50mls that had a wider spray.
Started using a jug (same Pyrex one I started off with 13 years ago. I dump water on them but it serves me well) about a week ago. I'm giving them 200mls of PHd water (I vary this, don't aim for a number everytime) with the Rhizotonic and as of about five days ago the tiniest amount of Shogun Hydro A+B complete feed.
I don't know if it's a done thing to use feed for a hydroponic set up. Got better results and less nitro problems since so I've stuck with it.
By the time I get to flowering I use 750mls for each plant

I like to use coco clay pebbles for a top base of medium why it protects the top from drying out to fast as well provides better aeration on top of pots and leat control .
