Didn't take much off, just cleared out some lower scruff, and clipped a few obstructive fan leaves in the canopy.

wow She is looking good Preston9mm. cant beat a nice trim to get air round her limbs. looking so healthy and green too. she will be a good harvest mate

Happy new year everyone! The Critical is good! Needs a cure for sure but it's flavour is there. It hasn't got that grassy hay smell and taste you sometimes get with freshly dry buds. She is definitely fruity but it's not citrus like the smell was when she was growing. It's very floral and I think I can detect a little bit of aniseed on the exhale. It's quite a loud taste if that makes any sense, it certainly has a dank feel. The best part is that it's not even seen a jar yet so it's only going to get better. Thanks for having me :)

brilliant ending prof. been a blast. i dread finishing and leaving the thread now. heehee.

Thanks GG! Speaking of leaving this thread. Here is the Critical Orange Punch! She's a beast! Like I said in my journal featuring her, this plant is a full package. She has yield, smell, colour and I know she's going to taste great because of the smell. She's really earthy possibly woody fruit. The Fruit is subtle though. Can't smell any orange lol. The only test left is potency and I'm sure she'll be fine there. I'm going to stop taking pics in my grow room because the lights make the image look pretty bad. The plant actually has red all over her. She's going to look stunning after she's dried. Well, I've just set up the Cheese for flowering now so expect to see that one feature a little more from now on. Happy growing all a happy new year also :)

well worth the wait . look edible prof. try a blue lense or filter over camera lens. mine is from growroom glasses. Works fairly well but i get what you mean. hate showing the girls with sub standard pictures that dont do them justice. harvest time is usually a good catch up of the real work we put in. Will add a critical name to any strain i can now , just to stay here. lol. heading over to have a gander at the lady now , am intrigued and a big fan.

I've got a camera that I borrow from someone but they don't know what I do with it lol. It can handle different temperature white light and the Blue/red mixed spectrum light no problem, only thing is I have to keep making excuses to use it. Luckily I have a daughter so I use baby photos as an excuse lol. I always borrow it for finished bud shots so don't worry, you'll get to see how she turns out in detail. Blimburn Seeds have a Critical Grandaddy Purple which looks like fun. Thanks for the kind word GG :)

you guys across the pond het so many breeders and strains to play with. i struggle to pick from the ones i can access from europe already. heehee. . absolute pioneers for the 420 community prof. to see so many strains actually grown well , gives the strains so much appeal or honesty ( as in hard to grow , too tall etc...) like you i have always attempted variety with no issues until this change to rdwc.... makes it so much harder to mix up the genetics for variety with all using same res. am going with one strain for next crop ( and 2 cheeky Grinspoon for a treat for me!!).
i tried a purple envy that grew amazing and have me 10oz dried and trimmed but never coloured up to the name at all. was amazing to see how quick she grew though. good luck. will be on that one when its going

It's definitely getting better over here with strain choice. In 3 months I'll be trying my first gelato/sherbet cross and Sorbet/dosido cross. Never had any of them before, I can't wait. The Seedbank that I use has tons of new strains coming out every month now. Barney's catalogue must have doubled in size in the last 3 years. DNA has just released an entire new range as have Dutch Passion. I'm still not sure what I'm going to grow next lol. I have a rough idea but I still have a month to decide :)

barneys gifted me my seeds for current grow following a red diesel diary i did. love their genetics. Have two Royal queen seeds in too. We do have suppliers but prefer direct from breeder. Would love to give colloidal silver a fly for a supply of fresh seeds too

Well that's a nice looking garden! Good for Day 21 of flower. Some of mine that are in my current grow looked like they were slacking a bit at this stage. They've all caught up now though and hopefully will all be down by the new year. Good job GG! :)

When you say day 22 of Flowering, how long is the average flowering time for critical? Also can you say how long the satge was from sprouting seedling to vegetative stage ready to flip to flower please?

Hey wolf! Critical is an early flowering strain that averages at about 9 weeks. Many breeders say their Criticals are 8 week strains but I found this to be a tad early with the 2 that I just grew but if you prefere a bit more of an up high then chopping them at week eight would have been ok. They're quite fast strains and it should only be a few weeks to a month before they're ready to be flipped. Hope this helps

hey everybody I'm back! been catching up on what I've missed and I've gotta say everything is looking great you guys! I saw someone discussing the terpinator (and like substances) do you find there's a noticeable difference while using the terpinator (and like substances)? Yesterday was day 21 of flower for the dinafem critical+2.0 girls and they're starting to look real nice! I had a bit of a nutrient deficiency plague me but @Dutchman1990 helped me get that sorted right quick! Almost at the half way mark and I can't wait to see how they finish off :D

Wooo ! Looking good playa! Them girls are frosting up nicely and starting to get some nice chunky colas! Love seeing the Budsites all forming up!

I can’t wait to flip my girls!! Few more weeks until I flip. I’m thinking around January 20! This Would give me 2 weeks for stretch and 9weeks for flowering. Then harvest if all goes according to plan... lol!
