Personally, I would keep lids on and just burp em every so often. Let the ladies get acclaimated to the dry air. Introduce them for longer intervals until they no longer fit in the cup. Kinda training them to the environment. I try my best to keep RH above 50% with babies in the room. I definitely shoot for higher, but that isn't always possible.

with coco , you cannot really overwater as it passes through it so well. once a day is ok as long as room is not too hot ect.. if your not watering enough , the water pressure within the leaf will show as drooping. dont mistake this for when light is off as they do " sleep" with leaves relaxed too. you will see any issue as it comes up. keep posting the pics but start a journal and people can walk through with you and you will get some very helpful members on board too.
