I have started trying these clips out. Seem to do the job well and can train a good 90° angle. Judging by the width of the channel , i would say best for younger training but you could push a bit for thicker stems as long as you could release them again.

Jolene seems to be a lil glutton for punishment.
She blew up after I tied her down yesterday. I decided to top her one last time... at these 4 locations.
Now it is time to crank these restraints for the next few weeks...

I have this image in my head of growing a plant that resembles Bob Ross.... it always makes me chuckle.
Stay lifted y'all...

Looking great Preston. To bad the blueberry didn’t wanna work out for me. So that makes like 6 blueberry seeds I couldn’t grow in the same month. Man. Hey at least your seed sprouted

I have used those clips. They work great, but be careful when removing them when the stems get too thick. I snapped one branch before I figured out how careful I had to be. I left some a bit too long because I simply forgot about them. When I realised I was choking some branches, I took them all off.
This plant was probably my best plant so far, don't know if it was the clips that did it though...

Ive had great success with 400w HPS in a 4x4 tent. And if the LED just hanging doing nothing. Add it with HPS.

Just remember bit more clammag required when using leds :Namaste:

I have tried my Critical a couple of times. It simply is awesome!!
The smell and taste of the buds are just beautiful, and she's got a good punch, too. Very potent indeed. I also tried some that is being cob cured at the moment. It's not ready yet, but I could try some. And the best I can say about that is - holy smoke! These had my eyes watering, both when smoking and vaping. Bloody hell - best stuff ever! This is my favourite strain so far, and I'm happy I've got more seeds.

I also highly recommend anyone who is going to grow indoors during summer to grow Critical. Due to its structure it handles heat like a champ. Mine grew through summer in Spain at temperatures in the tent at around 30 C, and she was happy as...

well guys i'm on day 23 and I'm pretty sure I've figured out what caused the one plant stress and solved it :D I had left them for 4 days and because that one was closest to the fan, I believe she got way too dry and the wind started to hurt her (As miniscule as the breeze is in the tent). So I watered them when I got home and since then have seen nothing concerning in any of the new growth on any of the girls. For the next nute feeding I'm going to be upping the doses a little bit because I got myself all confused and was going off week 2 of the feeding schedule still rather than week 3. They're looking a little short but I'm pretty sure it's because I had been over watering them for a bit. Since the realization I've cut back on the watering as well as how much I give them at a time and they seem to be growing better than they have the last few weeks :) I've begun the manifold process, I waited until 6 nodes then topped to the third and cleared all the veg under the third node except for the fan leaves. The girls are now each on about their 2nd/3rd node depending on which girl it is. Mack (centre) has been reacting better and is working on pushing out her third node as we speak where as the others are at the 2nd still. So once they hit 4 nodes I'm going to top down to the 3rd node, clear out node #2 on each branch and do some more LST and she'll be on her way :D getting real antsy to get her into flower but I know the key to a good harvest is patience! :Namaste::Namaste:

Thanks man. Golf balls make for an easy trim lol. How did the viva sativa turn out? I nearly grew her out a few years back but I did their Super Cheese/Swiss Skunk instead :ganjamon:

I was suprised at the vivas yield for what looked short and bushier than the orher strains but they came through good for me. Easy to grow too. Did mine with coco and never missed a beat. Used breast milk and plagron on them and they loved it.( have diary of the grow on here in signature below) smoke was very nice too. Smoked like an old skunk strain. Heady and active high too. I was going to solve the world food crisis at one point then harvested and smoked the Red diesel and put that off till later !!!!. Lol. R great to trim like that too.
