12" might be too close. I'd try 24" and see how they do. You can always lower it later, or the plant will grow to shorten the distance!

I'm gonna mess around with the vent fan and see if I can control the temps directly under the light and if not then I'll lift er up a bitI'd go with Shed. I just dont wanna have too much room between the light and the plant cause I'm already limited on height space
It may not even be the heat below the light. Just the intensity of that light being so close can taco them up. I just did a pretty good number on my whole garden by running my HPS too close. Up-potted the Critical + this morning and moved her into the new "veg room".
She was getting that top-heavy lean, and starting to run out of room under her humidity dome. It was just time to get her out of that dry ass flower room.
I have a feeling these seedlings are gonna really enjoy the blurple again too. I have always had great luck with my seedlings under these cheap-o LED's.

LoL... I just moved a few babies to my closet because I need to flip the girls in my main grow. I don't normally have 2 separate areas but have been playing around with it a bit lately.Multiple grow rooms i see!!
First attempt was a small cabinet that I built to start my current group of plants when they were seedlings so I could stay "perpetual". The main room still had 3-4 plants that were finishing out flowering.
It was tough to maintain the temps in it, and it took up space in my shed.
Now that I've encountered this issue with needing to flip earlier than expected, I decided to give these seedlings a new home in my closet.
Improvise...adapt...overcome

Quick little update of my girls on day 10 gonna hopefully be up-potting in about a week to their final 5 gallon home (I don't wanna transplant too much as I'm not quite experienced) I lifted the light up to about 19" from the tops and I haven't seen anymore tacoing or little brown spots so I think they're appreciating the intensity break. Hope everyone's doing well

So last night i up potted the Critical+ and she looking a little different in colour a little than the rest.. But been fed the same as others. Maybe she needs something extra.

She's still small. I wouldn't hit her with anything much yet, maybe a little cal/mag? Once she gets bigger it will be easier to figure out what's missing.

For those upset at my peyote ladies shocking demeanour, i have been making amends with her this week and she is happier to be one of my ladies now. The RQS is getting ready for a burst of growth too .
Still getting to grips with dwcr and mixes ( and products not available to uk being advised a lot too , drives me nuts not knowing what European equivalents i need. Lol )
