the sun for a try soon. Back to brisket.

The tester bud after a trim and before the final sun dry yesterday. This was a low bud...not quite larf but wouldn't make into my final bud jars. Happy to report it was smooth...tasted like hash and was heady. Im guessing about a golf ball size ball of hash from the remaining fans and sugar leaves. Hoping to double grow #1 to yield 12oz. this time...maybe.

Day 109...mid-week through week 10 flower. Found what looked like a couple seeds earlier this week poking out and found a male flower low yesterday. I have great airflow...not good in this case. I planned to chop this weekend anyway since trichomes 5% clear, most cloudy and amber ranges 15-30%. Cali Connection says 65 days, they went 67. I unplugged the light last night. Today all fans were trimmed and bagged for hash later, in the freezer now. The plants were labeled and hung whole to dry back in the grow cabinet I used the abandoned scrog frame from my first grow to create a slide in drying rack. I will assess the seed situation during the cure. All 4 are a bit different but all share a very tropical fruit, incense and hash aroma. The very larfy tester from last weekend was surprisingly potent. A few pics from chop day.

A wee purple larfy tester...couldn't help but yank and sun dry earlier this week during the drying check in. It was surprisingly fruity...the predominant smell from most of the plants. Also just frosty sticky. The workbench is set up for harvest trim tomorrow. It will be 9 days low and slow dry...full update with pics tomorrow. This second grow yield is significantly higher than #1...hoping to double to min 12 ozs dry.

Yesterday was trim day (day 118 from sprout) after 9 days slow drying in my grow cabinet with just the extraction fan running. Drying conditions...temp range 63-66F and RH range 51-56%. Picked up four new 1/2 gallon jars to reduce the number I’m burping daily. I had help this time, trim took just under 4 hours. This was a medium yielding strain...I was hoping to double my first grow, which was about 6 oz all in. I didn’t make it to 12 oz...but not that far off...I’m happy with the results from my organic soil 3x3.
Cali Connection Corleone Kush
2A “purple one” bud 47g, popcorn 9g
2B “tall girl” bud 64g, popcorn 3g
2C “the claw” bud 50g, popcorn 4g
2D “super fruit” 60g, popcorn 5g
Total 242g, just over 8.5 oz.
Plus 53g high quality sugar leaf trim and a nice pile of scissor hash.
I ran the big fans trimmed off chop day through the ice bags and got about 1/2g bubble hash...a nice preview. Later trim day I ran the lightly frozen sugar leaf through the ice bags and got another 3g bubble hash...cream colored and tastes like fruity pebbles. The trichomes are very fine...hash only the final #25 screen. The dry kief will become a couple of nice shoe hash pieces.
I was able to apply learning from my first grow and a few pointers here...noted a couple tweaks I will make for grow #3, including timing to defoliate...waiting on seeds. Thanks for checking out my grow.

What a great harvest! Those were some of the prettiest plants! They're going to do you good.
SO...watching your Godfather grow...in the same vein of this “Killer” Corleone Kush. Thanks for the feedback...I admire your LOS grows. I buy and mix soil, but go full organic nutes...makes for some very tasty, colorful, sticky, sweet smelling, potent buds...did I say sticky?

It really doesn't matter how we grow these babies to me. I see fantastic plants grown in every way. You nute feeders are more talented in my book. I have a hard time getting it just right when I've grown that way. Grow on brother! Can't wait for what's next!
