locally upon my return...
They grow the good stuff in Ontario and also central Canada.
Organic 2row malt is what I use. Ground fine.
Also I mix in Organic malted corn and Organic malted Buckwheat. Grind fine
I make an even mix of all 3 ^^^ add to the hole and sprinkle in top and scratch in.
1 tbs in the hole
1 tbs scratched in
Prolly be good mixed with EWC and scratched in.
Can use just Malted Barley its the best really.
Well today I was looking a little closer at the Platinum Buffalo running in the back corner. She's a big ass bitch. She's got a lot of LATE nanners mixed in with the flowers.
I'm a little pissed but I don't have very much longer to go so I'm thinking about letter her go for another 2 weeks. It's not enough time for seeds to form so even if the nanners are viable (they dont look like it) there's no time to make seeds now.
Kinda sorta looking like an earlier harvest this round. lol.
Glad I ran extra seedlings and clones. I'm not digging nanners.
We had a warm up after it was -10C for a week then outside temps shop up to 65F (20C). The first day of the warmup flower room temps went up to 88F from ambient 66-75F all the way thru flowering. So a 13F degree rise I guess was enough to cause nanners. Well I'll blame it on the temps. I've had my room temps much higher plenty of times in the past.
The Lab x PMB plant LOVES the hot weather. Wow her main cola started leaning over. Main stem is wired all 4 sides to the pot but up 6' at the top - she's baseball bat sized. She's turning fall colors now and TOP HEAVY. Had to YoYo her to the ceiling.
Oh hey was reading the internet and found a new highest THC tested plant.
Last spring someone sent in some Future from Exotic Genetix to get tested and it measured +37% THC. Glad I made me some seeds. lol I'm getting on it. Well thinking about it.

I’ll post my purple monkey balls here soon brown I think you will be happy with how they shaped up and think I got one def female . Flipped about 7 days ago .
They are about 16-18 inches tall very good vertical height . I kept it simple as need to get these harvested sooner then later. But for them being in 1.5 - 1 gal fabric pots not bad pics later buddy hope they shape up as nice as yours do.

That's a girl - congrats. Gonna be a big one. Leave the center stem grow. It will stop at the lights. Trust me... lol.

I don't even have stakes or side skirt wires on mine. The stems are very very strong with this plant. I do have the main stem yoyo'd to the ceiling, she wood have fallen over by now top heavy - crack n snap. Wood not be good. She's as fat as a baseball bat maybe fatter.
Here's some Pre-Harvest pics. I'm going in tomorrow and getting a few Jellium out of there and maybe even the PMB mutant. Platinum Buffalo not far behind either. Nanners and all. I don't see any seeds so that's a good sign - fingers X'd.
I've got some pretty ladies waiting in the wings.

We had some weird shit weather outside that affected my grow space.

Anything with Starfighter, I highly recommend. No disappoint.

6 FEM seeds - Mandarin Cookies R2 (Mandarin Cookies #3 x Mandarin Cookies #17) - advertised @ +30% THC.
I've got some Mandarin Zkittlez in VEG now. They look pretty good.
On popping seeds:
I've been reading up on seedling soil vs seedling soil with added nutrients and it's effect on yields of Barley and the soil effect on final malt quality.
Interesting stuff.
It's cool to read how the scientists pop seed and do experiments. Now wondering how they get money to do that stuff??

Seedlings sprouted in less that 24 hrs
Seed-lette's are in peat pellets with a little bit of heat for 24 hrs.
turned off heat waiting for helmets! Go Girls Go...
Wait went and checked .... helmets up and green green green.

dash of H2o2
dash of kelp tea
5 of 6 popped and # 6 still breathing.
