Cottage 420's Organic Perpetual Indoor Garden

So would love to learn how to utilize my out door runs. And you my friend have been aloof so thanks again bobrown. Seriously .

Here is my first photo ever thanks to @Guy Cavallero and @Jackalope for making this happen.

Much love my homies✊

TTB FTW - Betty my baby gonna be a monster girl. Watch out for those thighs. She's gonna be a knock out. Scratch in some malted barley powder to get her to finish sooner.

Homie love bro. Guy has a nice setup. I gotta get over there and check his shit out.

We're on our way on to Canada. Yeah u right.

I pm Ed you bro ✊

One day we can blaze one together for sure would love to say what do you think ?

Hop aboard bro, flight path to Mars and beyond. We gonna have a party.

Our spring and late winter harvests are in and done with cure. So it's a smoke fest. Nothing to do but smile smile smile.

My standout from the late spring run is Buffalato #3 - she was the runt in VEG and had strange leaf growth. Was almost a cull. Her 2 sisters went into flower so I had no room. She grew out of her vegetative weirdness and turned into some mighty fine weed. I took a lot of pics of her. She puffs better than she looked on the vine.

Right now about to fill my bowl. Smells like Chocolate cake with berry sauce. Taste is phenomenal and high high high. Getting a contact buzz just thinking about it.

The other high-light from the late winter run was PMB - Purple Monkey Balls. This one is the original nugget plant but lots of different pheno's not worked much by the breeder. But I knew that going in. 2 of the 4 I ran are keeper plants with great yield, color, bag appeal, high is uplifting and soft landing, beautiful plant to grow. Everything in spades. Under radar too.

So many keepers, 420 FTW.

Thnx for the warm welcome and great to have a update like that right away:high-five:

I am getting close to Some harvest like 3-4 weeks for the first of 4 to Come down and then the ritm is there. Damn bug messed with my planning.

I Did make fan-Leaf-oil and Some caps and I really love it. So far I had a decent Chocolate mint OG harvest , great indica and not to mess with in the mornings Hehe.

Have a mighty puff-fest:passitleft:

Hey there Blaze.. those mostly indica plants are good for mold. I started foiler spraying my plants with Horsetail Fern tea starting in early VEG thru into several weeks in flower. Mix it in with my weekly IPM and I haven't had any moldy buds ever since. I used to get it regularly too this time of year.

So yeah for strains run the 50/50 indica/sativa strains or any that have more sativa that 50% will be good. Sativa genetics are from areas with high heat and humidity and the Indica generally are from areas that are a lot drier and colder. Those big fatty colas that are dense. Pretty tough to grow this time of year.

Health of plants comes into play for sure. Mold is a pest, plants can fend it off but very tough late in flower when the girls get desperate for pollen. Best to chop say a little early with fatty colas in the summer time. Or horsetail fern tea FTW. It works and you will be surprised how well. Yeah spray a plant with water and tea to get rid of mold. Yup its a thing, it works. Been doing it for a few years now. Problems solved.

That reminds me, time to break out the HT ferns and brew me some tea.

Sweet man thanx for the reminder. I remember now u saying that about the horsetail fern. I hadnt ever had moldy buds at tht time so was like oh ill b fine i wont get mold, and then bam few months go by then mold. Haha oh well always more plant's to be grown jus sux wasted time n energy when one girl goes sour. So do u pick ur horsetail fern wild then or order it? If so where can i order it from? Also will this be ok to use on plants that r super touchy lol by tht i mean i have a gorilla glue #4 auto that when ever i do ipms or foilars she spots up and some leaves burn. I even make sure to do it during lights off so she dnt get burnd by them while wet. Idk y she keeps doing it but the buds end up fire so i jus roll with it lol. It makes harvest time pretty easy jus chop n wash really since not many leaves r left at tht point but the downside is no trim for the concentrate pile lol.

I do both wildcraft - find in the woods and I've ordered it off A-zon. Cheap enough and easy to ship too. My local source this spring turned into a construction sight.
So have to wait until they come back or find another spot. They like damp conditions by streams or ponds or areas where it floods in spring and recedes. Like that....

Moldy buds, shit can show up fast, good one day next day "Oh no".

Not much to do about it cept preventive maintenance.

For your plant that you IPM and she doesn't like it, just cut back on ingredients. It's OK I dont go full strength unless I have pests.

I heard h202 in spray bottle will kill it it but not prevent mold ? Hmm

Yeah neem oil is strong on flowering plants. I only use it as a last resort and even then try not to. Have you tried Monterey Garden Spray. Spinosad will knock the mites down just have to use it 2x a week for a few weeks no missing.

Mites suck they like the hot weather. Monterey wont hurt the plants either. I just sprayed a mother plant that has/had mites on her. Sprayed her like 4 days straight with Monterey this week and last week 3 times - no more mites.

Edit:
H2o2 - will kill the mold but already too late for the buds. Easier to just cut them out and toss.

I myself won't use neem on flowering plants. Well,, up till like week two. But then IF I was to use something on mites while in flower,,, it wood be 'Green Cleaner' from Old Stage'. Alittle on the costy side,, but doesn't leave as much residual oils behind when used at 75+%. And still will knock down mites. Or a 'Soap' like Safers, Spray at lights out, wait 15 minutes and light rinse with plain water. Then put a fan on them to dry off before mold sets in.
I've had to shut the flower room down before so I could treat all the girls in veg. To me it's next to impossible to kill them F'ing mites if you have plants in all stages.

MITES SUCK

When are you spraying your neem applications buddy you should if possible do before lights out ?

Is Bobrown14 back up at the cottage?

Lol thts the garden spray im talkn about lol i use the ipm mix u told me to use way back when i was first starting out in los i use pro-tekt .5 tsp per gallon and ful-power by bio ag about half a cap or so per gallon of water n then the Monterey garden spray 1 tsp per gal. N i do tht 2x a week mondays and fridays r usually my ipm days

Here ya go - instead of 1tsp use 4 table spoons to a gallon water and spray the whole gallon on em and fans.

I use 1 TABLE SPOON for IPM without infestation.

With mites I use 2-3 TABLE spoons per Gallon every 2-3 days. Can't skip.

Spinosad will kill the live mites, and kill the eggs on contact. So why I suggest to spray top to btm, btm to top.. and repeat until gone.

Must repeat 2-3 days later. There are different stages of life for these insects.

Life Cycle is:

The life cycle is composed of the egg, the larva, two nymphal stages (protonymph and deutonymph) and the adult.

Very difficult to get them all. Why important to spray weekly. By the time we see the results of infestation, they've been active at least 3 weeks. Spreading their shit everywhere.

So treatment for infestation is:

2-3 tbs per gallon filtered water. Spray entire plant and soil container - everything in the room.

Repeat every 2-3 days for at LEAST 2 weeks if its warm, cooler temps go 3-4 weeks hard.

Here's 2 things mites hate:

Wind
Rain

Fans and IPM gotta do it.

Is Bobrown14 back up at the cottage?

Unfortunately no... it WAS too hot up there (no AC and I'm on the water) for my sorry ass. But I've managed to get a next round of little ones going and an automated VEG room going.

Oh yeah and forest fires = smokey hot conditions. I'm gonna give that a PASS.

So we have that...

Things change tho thankfully and fire ban lifted, heat and humidity are down and my truck is runneth over with shit to take. Longer I wait the higher the pile.

Fire ban lifted. YAY

Prayers for the firefighters. They are lifesavers. :Namaste:

Its time to go fishing.

You enjoy the trip. Be careful with that heat. Catch a walleye for me if you have them in your lake. If not a 12lb togue would work too.

No never I'm gonna check it out. I make my own for the cost of water which aint even pennies still.

Been working hard getting VEG room automated. Got everything set up. Got a 3.6 gal (a little bit bigger than a #3 pot) auto pot system with 30 gal res going. New lighting. Took out the failing Mars Reflector 144 - 1/2 of the lamp was dim to not working and getting hot as hell.

So Now a new Timber cob with another USA made Cob in there.
Man I go thru lights ....

Had some trouble with a power supply with one of my Timber lamps that was in the VEG room. I turn it up full and it thinks its too hot .. so it starts lowering the output. I took the pot out of the equation and the lamp runs @ 120+% rated output and gets too hot to touch. Took it out of rotation and gonna order a new power supply.

All good I got a lot of service from that one, I think it was my first Timber. Dan would ship me new parts no charge I'm sure but I don't feel that's fair to him. I got prolly 2 1/2 years duty out of that lamp 24/7 well 18/6. Never turned it off. The COBs are perfect. Heat is the bane of electronics. My VEG room gets HOT in the summer.

I'll do a write up tomorrow with pics as I transplant the next mini round and show the soil deal along with the AutoPot system. Anyone not liking to water or don't have a hose, this is a good setup. Can hook up a hose to it too. I have my flower room hooked up to the spigot in 3rd floor bathroom with an RO filter.

No carry
no cry

Bless everyone :Namaste:

Eye candy from last run. BH #5 "The Runt" on the left and DT #9 on right @ ~17 weeks.
Sativa - she was mostly clear trichomes. I did not have enough patience.
