Cottage 420's Organic Perpetual Indoor Garden

My wife says his buffalato #3 smells and taste just like red wine!

Nice i really wana try it but i jus dnt have room right now for another plant but i was thinking about it after my next harvest and i run threw these seeds i have now lol

Thanks for the kind words Phillygrow... the privilege is all mine. Good peeps are hard to find. Good to have a friend, thanks for stopping by.

I did some transplanting today.

Here's what the root ball looks like when I leave the pot sit for a week or so. Just grab whats left of the stem and give it a twist and this is whats left:

I leave the rest of the root ball in the pot - this is called no-till. The old root ball is almost all decomposed already. I just dig a hole large enough for the next plant and add some mycos and EWC to the hole and plant and right into flower room.

I pulled a test bud from BH #3 the other day and I'm going to puff on it here in a few.

Close up - these buds look A LOT like the DT does. Lots and lots of pistols which means lots of calyx. They look airy but if I let them go a little bit they fatten up. The DT #9 looks almost the same but the buds are HEAVY now.

Bob, those DTs look great along with everything in your garden (as always). Any idea who might have some of them in stock? Been looking for DT for like 8 months now cause of you LOL. Great work brother!!

I just washed branches for the very first time. They are very nearly dry and smell (for a lack of a better word) fresh. The bouquet of the flowers does not seem to have been affected.

Hey does any1 know if bud washing takes away from the smell of ur buds?

Blaze - put them in a jar with 62% Boveda... it will come back and then change several times.

Freshies are notorious for "not the finish bouquet" !!

Put the freshies in the jar, bro! :passitleft:

Says the guy puffin on some freshies BH -

Attention peoples - I have in my......, wait, actually in my friends possession, official creeper freshies.

Note to self, must be careful hanging with said friend. :smokin2:

Hey Bobrown. You've been such a help in my journal I thought I would sub in on yours. I read the first few pages and skimmed through the rest. Unfortunately dont have time time to chug through 109 pages haha. Although I would love too.

Truly amazing what you have going on in there. Very interesting soil mix. You have it down to a fine art.

Thanks again for your help mate.

I know that terpenes and trichomes are not water soluble and should fall off buds if washed gently. But myself, I don't see the need to wash buds that have been grown inside properly. That mean no bugs and no sprays. All that should come off them in the wash is a tad of dust then. Now if someone had bugs or caterpillars running amuck shitting all over the place on your buddage, then I'd think about washing.

But myself I don't wash mine.. Too each their own for sure

Blaze yeah bro, what I'm talking about. Gotta get used to em. All I smoke pretty much anymore. Summer time going with cured tho for the most part.

Woody I'm with you on washing. First off I'd need one or 2 of them BIG ass galvanized water feeders for horses and cows. Because size  like this:

For ME - its all about the soil mix and our home made compost!

We can always sneak over the fence and have a Hella BBQ,, then you can take it's water bowl.

With temps in the 90s we have AC on in the flower room. Perfect temps and humidity finally. 81F and 48% RH

Prefer open windows. But we have raccoons in the neighborhood right now. Saw a family of 5 up on my first floor roof last night. Be bad if they crawled in the window looking for food. Real bad actually. Not sure about how to get rid of em. I can't shoot them and won't poison them. Anyone have any suggestions. Bobcat would be freaking awesome about now I'm thinking.

Check with your local Animal Control. Here they have "Have-A-Heart" traps they loan out for free. If you catch a subject pest you take it and the trap back and they'll unload it for you. I had two wild cats a couple years ago terrorizing my two outside cats. I borrowed one of the cages from them. Unfortunately the only thing stupid enough to go into and set off the trap was my two cats. I caught one of them three times and the other one once.

Anyone with suggestions on Racoon home invasion avoidance techniques???

All help appreciated and welcomed.
Catch and release traps. And I know they make ultrasonic wildlife repellers. Not sure of how effective they are but it might be an inexpensive and harmless way to run them off!

Throw them rib bones and stuff someplace in the yard you don't mind them visitting for a few days and they will focus their attention on the food spot.

Regarding bud washing:

Imagine you didn't dust or wash your floors or shelves for a few months, add that to your pipe, and smoke it.
Is the flavor going to improve when you do that?
