Just think, you would not appreciate the weather that is coming in the next two weeks if it were not for what we had to put up with for the last two weeks. It seems downright chilly outside since the humidity dropped.Squee!

I have not! Looking forward to it, though. <3Your garden's more flowering advanced than mine. I'll catch up. So have you had sour diesel before? My BIL gave us a jar he grew and it's a stand out cultivar in my book! Gets us way high! Enjoy!
You should! YUMMY SMOKE THAT SLAYS MY MIND AND BODY!I have not! Looking forward to it, though. <3
I noticed how soon her plants started flowering. Seemed really early but I thought that it might have been partly caused by the constant haze in the sky from the fires out west as the days got shorter.Your garden's more flowering advanced than mine.
Interesting theory Wings, I bet there's something to that. Some of her buds are already looking end game size. Course I have my weed goggles on. Mighty decent for sure!I noticed how soon her plants started flowering. But then I am a bit south and some more over to the east and if it were the smoke haze then why didn't my plants flower early? Copperrein's plants are looking mighty decent for the first of September.
So much sugarUgh, they are looking pretty far along. Looks like the NM trip is back on, too. Lots o'stress here trying to plan the next month. Hey, at least we're not one billion degrees hot.
Photo update:
Alien Rock Candy has gone pink again. I was really worried I lost the cool colors when she got beat to hell.
White Widow looks so White Widow.
Hulkberry...if she's still going to flower until October, these are going to be some stupid colas:
Triple Cheese catching up...she's twice the size of Hulkberry:
And one of my Gelat.OGs:
No worries. Sour Diesel is still floating around the garden. Wafting in the breeze. It’s where all that purple is coming from. Good stuff. Beautiful garden.First the bad news. The last storm that blew through a while back seems to have killed Sour Diesel. She lost one major limb immediately after and has been declining since. I'll pull her tomorrow and see if I can't get some ok hash.
Good news is everyone else is exploding into color and flower.
White Widow
Critical Purple Kush
Alien Rock Candy
LSD (also getting some pink!)
Wedding Cake going black
Wooooo Hulkberry!
And Triple Cheese
Thank you <3Beautiful plants, copper! Sorry about the Sour Diesel....
So, I've been wondering- what do you do at harvest time? Do you take a few weeks off from everything else, and just trim weed the whole time?
Or do you have a crew that comes in to help out?
That is a lot of work for just one or two people...so many big plants...
I'm totally inspired with Frenchy too! Hope I have the oomph in me for my stankberry to go that way! That was the plan anyways.Thank you <3
It's only ever been me trimming. Granted I haven't had this much to trim before. I pretty much just trim trim trim and cry cry cry, This year I'm only trimming and curing solid colas. Everything else will get run through my crank-operated trimmer and turned into hash and concentrates. I've been watching Frenchie Cannoli hash videos and have been inspired.
I try to take entire plants before the sun comes up (no flushing) and hang them upside down in one of the barns. Last year I cut holes in the bottoms of giant trash bags and hung those over the plants to keep them from drying too quickly and unevenly.
This year I think everyone's too big to get hung whole SO same as above except I pull a plant in the morning...hang it upside down in the shop (high ceilings and a pulley system), break it down into bins sorted by 'quality' and size...focus on the good stuff, process the rest however. My partner John wants to try making charas so a few live colas will be going to that. That one is gonna hurt to watch.
I looked into a trim crew but between fireworks this summer and all the weather chaos, I wasn't even sure (still not) if I'd have a harvest. Plus not keen on randos in my inner sanctum. Oh...and my crippling control issues >.> (IT'S MOSTLY THIS ONE)
Speaking of control issues...am I insane for making a manual on how to care for my plants while I'm gone so that my buddy who also grows weed can do it right? I'm having serious problems being ok with letting someone else take the reins.
`!!! Yes please! Everyone here is tired of my forced garden tours already. I love showing people my plants <3I want to bus in for
OMG my man who really doesn't go in for the 'cannasseur' snobbery that I do has fallen in love with Frenchie. As a result he made some sumac charcoal with which we've been using to smoke hash in the bong with. (normal people can just get coco charcoal for hookahs). It's sooooo good and you can smoke way too much if you're not careful. We just put a flattish disk of hash on the screen, a small mound of finely chunked charcoal on top of that, light and go. The hash never truly starts to burn so you're just sucking on hash vape. It's like Jungle Juice or Romulan Ale: Goes down way too easily.I'm totally inspired with Frenchy too! That's a super idea! Praying for the energy! I freaking love hash and I can wait for it to finish after it's made. I just have to get to it!
